Im with Brick-man here. 20-30 grams of fish oil is a little silly.
Many older people who have signs of wet macular degeneration are told to stay off the fish oil, to prevent new macular bleeds. Although soem studies show a high level of fish consumption in the diet helps to prevent the incidence of macular degeneration. So as Brick-man sad, its all about moderation.
I take 3 grams of fish oil with each of three meals, to lower the glycemic index of the meal. Never had a leakage problem. I have taken considerably more with no problem, but always with some kind of food. Poliquin starts(?) his trainees off at 45 grams of fish oil liquid a day, and gradually lowers it to about 15 or 25 grams(?).
LOL yes Ive tried this a few years ago. Every time I sharted it smelled like the beach. I could smell it when I peed too. And I ruined some nice pants in the process.
Cost: a couple bucks
