Pauised squats look nasty; what’s your opinion of them.
Joe- I like them in so much as they I really can feel the muscles work to get up out of the whole…it also and I don’t know why, seems to have helped cure my right knee caving in…maybe it is because my aging brain only has to focus on being tight pushing out and exploding up… Im going to keep doing them 5x5 and every session I hit all reps I am throwing another 10 lbs on the bar…even with the weight I’m using there are reps in the latter sets that are working my butt off to get up, so I am hoping when I switch back that there is carryover and I will be able to say for the first time…yes, I squat more than I bench!! Hope that answers your question…have a great weekend!-Paul
Nice job on the squats and presses - I can’t remember walking my dog hungover, but I know it’s happened on many occasions. Good thing the dog knew how to get home.

OP thanks brother…yeah my dogs are definitely smarter than me…how else could explain that they live in my house for free!
My BW? 173…oh wait let me re-write that a MASSIVE 173…hahaha

Looking good Paul. Have you tried farmers carries with the trap bar? You can carry a lot more then you can using dbs.
Steve- I would love to try them with a trap bar but there is just way to much stuff in the gym to get by. And If I buy one for home use right as college payments start…the evil empress will be shooting lightening bolts out of her eyes at me!

30 min band resisted push up planks, half kneeling cable chops, side bridges, tall kneeling cable chops,…did 3 or 4 sets of each…a little a break as needed.

How do you feel after the chins?
Feel good, Joe… thanks …you can see have to rebuild stamina on these, geez it might help if I keep them in the rotation instead being a wuss about it! I like the dead hang though, feel a nice stretch through the lat.
