Excell Question

I have a collection of testing data in excel from a group in my team. Each test was carried out every fortnight for 12 weeks.

I have made a pivot table and now what I want to do is create a cluster-stacked bar graph type thing which will display the progress.

For one individual week1 is say 4 and week3 is say 7, so in the current stacked graphs, week 1 is displayed as 4 then week 3’s 7 is added on top of that, but what I’m looking to do is cluster it so that Week 1 is displayed as 4 but week 3 is displayed as 3 to Total 7!! etc etc

How do you do that?

Thanks,

like this?

Yes Razorslim, like that, except that just looks like a standard stacked graph.

In the pivot table, I have Row Labels being the Player, Column Labels being the Period test number, and value being the test results.

Then, when I create a Clustered Column Graph you can see the results for example ‘Player 1’ started at level 17 and by test 6 it was Level 28. But it’s very messy and untidy the graph as you can see in the image link below.

So, when I create a stacked graph, you can see that each result from test 1 to test 6 has been added onto each other and the total for player 1 is just below Level 120. When on week 6 his latest level was 28. View following image link.

So, What I’m looking to do is track progress, I don’t want to add each week onto each other, kind of like a line graph but in bar format, I guess I’ll just need to stick with Line Graphs.

Thanks.
