yeah you’re right. the “hulk” was jacked in his prime . . . hell what am I saying he’s still jacked!
in his prime he was something special. especially for someone his height. i think he could have and a Mr. O title if he wouldnt have walked away from bodybuilding just as arnold was leaving. arnold was the only person in his way at that time, but being in the movies was too big to turn down i guess. Yeah that’s true. But i Guess that wasn’t a bad decision since he’s still getting spots in a few movies. but it would be nice to see where he’d gone if he stayed.
This to me is one of the greatest bodybuilding pictures ever[/quote]
Any one of those pictures from that particular photo shoot would compete for that title - which was done a few weeks before the 93 Mr O. Those pics rocked the BB world and ushered in the ‘freaky big’ era.
DY admitted he overdid his cutting for the 92 Mr O in an effort to present the best backage and came in lighter than he should have. He turned up in 93 well over 10 lbs heavier, maybe closer to 20 lbs.
My all time favourite is Ronnie. Current fave is Heath though I like Cutler aswell. If I’m correct in thinking Ronnie wants to compete in the olympia in 10 then I’ll be supporting him.
branch, not a fan of his physique that much - he did come in superb condition during the olympia. It’s his work horse ethic that makes me admire him. Physique wise Frank Mcgrath before his tricep tears but currently Evan Centopani.

Lou would have had the O for sure. I think he overshadowed Arnold in Pumping Iron.
