Every Other Day Training

Hi all

How would you go about setting up every other day training with cardio days (high intensity cardio)

I.e would you train
mon full body
Tuesday high intensity cardio
Wednesday off and repeat
Or

Monday fullbody
Tuesday off
Wednesday high intensity cardio
Thursday off
And so on.

Any help is much appreciated.

High intensity cardio is not something you can do frequently, especially if you are heavier or don’t have great conditioning. High intensity cardio is AT LEAST (likely more, at least in terms of central fatigue) as demanding as a lifting session and requires at least (likely more) recovery than the lifting session.

In that regard, the second option is better.
