And to get this post back on topic…No, I have never met anyone from T-Nation. Since probably only 15% of the people on this board actually train, there is a slim chance that I will come across one of them.
Is that because you are in the 85%?
Yes. I have been reading these forums forever; yet, I have never touched a weight. I rub butter on my face because it helps to worsen my acne, which I pop so it splatters on the screen. I have bodybuilding posters all over my wall just so I can feel protected. I post on this forum to be dominated by the strong-willed T-Vixens. I am a self-proclaimed muscle-building expert at 125 pounds, and I am also an expert at World of Warcraft.
Seriously though…this site like many other forums is a haven for the socially ostracized…its the one place frequented by a mix of desperate virgin teenagers, bodybuilders and figure athletes, old pot-bellied (and sometimes hypogonadal) strength trainers and a subsection of physically unappealing individuals who just happen to lift weights, AND NO ONE is made to feel out of place. A 300 pound middle-aged woman/man can fill her/his void (insert lascivicious comment) by openly flirting with muscular men/attractive women and not feel out of place.
Is that such a bad thing? As long as said individual does not get carried away, probably not. The thread hijacks sometimes get out of hand, particularly when very few feel inclined to talk back, say something hurtful and compromise their presence on the site. Anyway, sorry for my own hijack and it won’t happen again.

You are a sharp dude. I enjoy your posts and I encourage you to hijack any thread.
For those of you who dislike me so much Ive never even talked to you. Not in a thread or a PM. I highly encourage you to put me on your ignore list and the problem will be solved.

Anyway, there’s only one other T-Nationer in my state (that I know of) and he’s antisocial.

Just kidding - I don’t know you - but I thought there were a few people out here though.
You sir, have nailed it. The thing is some here enjoy the bubbling brook of bullshit that is spewed forth on every single thread. For the life of me I can’t see why, but to each their own. As it’s been said before it isn’t too hard to simply skip posts or posters that don’t contribute anything to the topic at hand and everyone ends up getting what they want from this site.
Oh and I have never seen anyone in Kansas wearing T-Nation gear. The idea of T-cells is a good one.

That’s where I lived when I originally set up this screen name, and I was kind of attached to it when I moved - I lived in the DC-area in between Boston and Washington.
