And to get this post back on topic…No, I have never met anyone from T-Nation. Since probably only 15% of the people on this board actually train, there is a slim chance that I will come across one of them.
Is that because you are in the 85%?
Yes. I have been reading these forums forever; yet, I have never touched a weight. I rub butter on my face because it helps to worsen my acne, which I pop so it splatters on the screen. I have bodybuilding posters all over my wall just so I can feel protected. I post on this forum to be dominated by the strong-willed T-Vixens. I am a self-proclaimed muscle-building expert at 125 pounds, and I am also an expert at World of Warcraft.

I like B-3. I think her Fike joke was pretty darn funny.
I almost met EZ-E from the BOI thread.
I thought about trying to meet Amsterdam Animal once as he lives a town away from me.
I almost invited Nephorn to a party and if I ever had a big party I would definitely invite him for real.
I invited Sic to come meet me and my family, but she thought buying baby stuff would be more fun I guess…
I thought about starting a thread asking people in DC/MD/VA area if they wanted to get together, but I’m currently pretending to live in PA, so I thought it’d be confusing, but hey…if anyone’s near Hyattsville, MD gimme a shout.
Bushy…do you got a spare bedroom for me and She Say ?? I’m pretty sure you don’t hate my guts, but never hurts to ask publicly.
Outlaw, if you want B3’s attention that badly, Private Message (PM) her. I understand you’re new and it is quite overwhelming to learn all the functions of this forum and how to use them. However, you took the time to read her many posts. You certainly can take the time to learn to post more appropriately.
Maybe I’ll PM you so we could play like real men do.

Sorry dude, but you set yourself up for that one!

Well played. I think I’ll one up you. Seriously though, you have the heart of a champion.

I was running on my gym’s track when a guy with a T-Nation shirt came and started running too. This is the first time in my many years of being a member (this is my second name, fyi) that I’ve seen a fellow member outside of my friend who recommended me to this site (and ironically doesn’t use it anymore).
So, has anyone seen a fellow T-Nationer?
Any T-nationers in Los Angeles? C’mon, I can’t be the only one.

I did think about the damage I could do with his account. But I am trying to be a less vindictive person and Karma can be a real bitch. So I did the honorable thing and closed it out. Besides I didn’t want him to know who I am.

Speaking of Karma, I wouldn’t mind running into her.

Do you shadowbox?
Yeah. That’s the only thing I do at the gym, because all the big dudes need to see that little guys like me are tougher and more functional.

I lift every once in a while with FlavaDave and HotCarl. I suppose one of these days I’ll randomly run into JackD. although I suspect he doesn’t train as much as he says.
I competed against stronghold in the Iron Tiger last year as well.
One time I was wearing my tribal T shirt and this kid comes running up to me and yells, “So you like Japanese comics too??” I was asked him what the hell he was talking about and he pointed to my shirt. I think a litle piece of me died right then.
glad i ran across this completely by random. i hope you come to fike so i can show you how strong you can be with zero supplements. anytime you want to be shown how to workout and not look like a bitch, let me know.
I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday, you just let me know the time. I thought you said you were rich, or your dad was I forget, so how come you have zero supplements? Aww poor college kid, maybe I can lend you a few bucks to buy some Metabolic Drive.
wow, this was just embarrassing for you. I do not take supplements because I take pride in knowing that me eating a specific way and maintaining a strict attendance to the gym every week for the better part of my adult life has allowed me to achieve a respectable level of strength. Now, i’m not saying if Biotest were to throw free shit my way like they did for you i would decline, but that opportunity has yet to come up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…I Just caught the “My Space” reference.
Gonna have to agree with JD and theOUTLAW, b-3 I have nothing really against you but that was a ridiculous, unecesary, rude, and most of all unfunny comment. and yeah, you act like an attention whore.
Harsh but mostly true!
(Now be prepared for an all-out assault by a series of well-meaning and gallant supporters.)
Seriously though…this site like many other forums is a haven for the socially ostracized…its the one place frequented by a mix of desperate virgin teenagers, bodybuilders and figure athletes, old pot-bellied (and sometimes hypogonadal) strength trainers and a subsection of physically unappealing individuals who just happen to lift weights, AND NO ONE is made to feel out of place.
A 300 pound middle-aged woman/man can fill her/his void (insert lascivicious comment) by openly flirting with muscular men/attractive women and not feel out of place.
Is that such a bad thing? As long as said individual does not get carried away, probably not. The thread hijacks sometimes get out of hand, particularly when very few feel inclined to talk back, say something hurtful and compromise their presence on the site. Anyway, sorry for my own hijack and it won’t happen again.
