Ever Feel Like A Threadkiller? 44

Reading fail on your part, in case you didnt realize this is the 44th thread killer thread. All you will do is get bored here and wonder away like a two year old kid chasing a cat. Here is a picture of a cat.

Do I have to have a belt to pull sumo? It seems like all the people in the vids do.

Ehm, fail on your part. I tried to kill the original one back in the day… Even though i don’t post often doesnt mean i havent been here for a while…

I never use a belt. For me its because it has no purpose for me to get good at lifting with a belt when i cant use it during a wrestling match

Headed to South Carolina for my a few of my favorite things…

  1. Business
  2. The Brick House - Best gym, ever, i.e. there is a chalice of chalk in the middle of the free weight room!
  3. Pawley’s - One of te best cheeseburgers I have ever had, Guy Ferritti agrees.

Flight delayed a lil’bit…so here I iz.

What is Norway’s best beer?[/quote]

Hmm… Probably Ringnes. Depends on what kind of beer you like but i’d have say it’s between Ringnes and Tuborg. We don’t have shit compared to let’s say german beer. It works perfectly for me, but when i was is munich for octoberfest and drank a shitton of german beer nothing seems to be the same again

^ I have heard that from my uncle who has made many trips to Germany. I love foreign beer, so I always like to get real input from locals.

Is that you in the avi?

I wouldnt really recomend norwegian beer tbh. It’s good, but if you’re gonna pay for an overpriced imported beer i would rather go for something really good like german than norwegian. We do have some good local breweries that make really awesome dark beer though, but they are pretty exclusive to you can’t get them in most stores.

Yup

^ Cool good to know and dark beer is my favorite, we have a couple places here in Houston you can get the imports. I dont mind paying, since I dont do it that often.

Do you still compete?

Currently just done with reconstructive surgery. Been out for two years because of a serious injury, but i hope to be back soon. Not at the same level ofcourse

I know, when i was younger i thought the lighter the bear the better the taste. Because of that i went 2-3 years thinking i didnt like beer untill i tried some dark beer at a beer festival once. After that it all went downhill :stuck_out_tongue:

I only strap mine on at 225-235lbs. I don’t use it to warm up from 135 to 205. I keep it for when it gets heavy. It’s good to work the core without the belt too. I would say add it for your last set or 2 last sets. What’s your deadlift day look like?

Same level? So where you Olympia bound or was this in college? I am ignorant of Norway’s school structure.

Yes you were mistaken on the beer, however I will say that on a very hot humid day after working outside I prefer a lighter beer. So it does have its place.

We dont have sports in school in norway. I have competed in the some internation tournements, nordic championships and was the norwegian champion when i got injured, but i was never at an olympic caliber. I started late, i started when i was 14-15 and no one even though i could win nationals.

I can agree on that. I don’t do much outside work anymore, but used carry metalpipes and plumbing equipment outside for a year so i can relate to it

NL, you think your belt helps your lift? or keeps you from getting injured? Curious to know.
I gave up all straps and belts about 10 years ago for the better, I felt like they were in my way…and I just recently pulled 500 with nothing but chalk and bare feet, a personal best. That said…I don’t compete.

Morning TK.

Hai guyz !

I got him in mid-roll…
