My delts are actually sore from yesterday’s training! It’s weird making the move into training ‘parts.’ But it’s been fun so far!
Although I have a question that probably sounds retarded…and Im too chicken to ask in the bb’ing forum…don’t hurt me
I’d really like to get to my goal weight of 160-165(150s if it happens!) I know they say you must ‘train for fat loss,’ OR muscle gain…not both, right? But can’t I just keep the eats clean and keep to the bb’ing and add cardio sessions in? OR do I keep doing total body stuff(blech)

Personally? I would eat strict and walk and lift your ass off.
I didn’t like TBT at all. I prefer a 4 way with 2 seperate days for back.

Generally the only thing that should change for training are things that could petentially hurt you if you don’t change them (ie. no singles-triples on flat bench w/ questionable form ect.).
Also some guys who use alot of volume on the offseason will drop their volume a bit to just keep strength up on main movements while their recovery ability is lowered from the dieting.
“What builds muscle the best will also maintain it the best” always made sense to me.
That being said you should still post this in the bb forum, no one’s going to flame a girl regardless of the question :P. You’d probably get a better answer from someone like Stu anyways.
ya, I’ve got a mentor of sorts now and can ask all sorts of questions…(thanks PMPM for hooking me up) But I enjoys others pov! Total body has served its purpose for the hardcore dieting I was doing though

so keep the compound movements heavyish still? That’s why I’m wondering if I can still get away with 5/3/1…hmmm
I’ll post over there…thanks Trav! :P
531 looks pretty good for a dieting phase actually because of the low volume and flexible accessory work (though you’d probably want to push that stuff a little harder to for bodybuilding purposes).

^ I like doing sprints on the upright bike…crank the intensity up to about 10-12 and go as fast as you can for about 45-60s…
I used to have a hill close to my house that I’d sprint up, back when I was 200ish it was good but when I got heavier mah knees died.
The bike would probably solve that actually, maybe I’ll find one I like and give that a shot again

Tell them I said “Hi!”
I just realized that my daughter came into the room, asked “Daddy, how do you make a fist again?”
I demonstrated, she said “Thanks.” and is now looking and calling for her brother. I should go check on them.

The ducks said they were distant cousins of yours. hehe.
I like your daughter, she’s just like me when I was a kid. Beating up boys.

You go mim, your gonna kill it. As Trav said not much needs to change, except injury prevention things related to fatique and lower amount of carbs and etc. And of course diet which is my achilles heel.
Hats off to you MIM I finally de IDDD that it was time to drop down actual body fat myself. However since I’m a lazy old fuck I called up shelby starnes on the 13 th of this month, put the money on the table and have not looked back. I salute you on your goals.
