BELTANE IS COMING UP!!!
Take 2 HOT-ROX with a double espresso (either Lavazza or Illy), and you have enough energy to run the Space Station.
Oh hai guyz.
TRAINING INPUT:
(disclaimer I am hella weak at squating I’ve only been doing real squats for a coupla months)
So, I’m training in 8-15 rep range for 5 sets.
I’ve been squating 95LBS and last workout hit the max reps 95x15 x5 sets
So next workout I get to go heavier and back down to the bottom of my rep range 8 reps x 5 sets
Would it be too much to go for 115x8x5?
what say TK?

I think 115 is a good target weight, just stick to form and dont worry about hitting the most reps. With the size of the junk in your trunk (which is a good thing) you will be hitting PR very easy and quickly.

I hope so!
Will go for 115 on Saturday then.
I am most careful with my form! Not quite ATG every rep I’ll admit but always below parallel.

While that is important, my thought is more with back arch, triangle up top etc. Squat is all about form, you can get injuried very quickly when the weight starts to get heavy. Take it from a guy who herniated three discs in my back due to losing form and just pressing through. Just my .02 when you are building the foundation dont get cheap concrete. This is the time you really work on always doing the same thing on form every time.
good luck

Umm…wasn’t it yesterday? I didn’t go to my Wicca celebration for it on Saturday. Decided to spend a lazy day with IH. Litha is next so I will go to that in June.
ATG def messes up my aged back.
A little more than parallel and I can usually stay out of the advil bottle.

I think that was my problem, going too fast. I got to 135 x 2 and then bam! Got injured, stopped going to the gym during winter (combo of being sick often and starting work), and now I can barely do 10 x 65 and reach parallel on the last couple of reps. Definitely take it slow and work your way up. Breaking that 100 lb mark is always a HUGE achievement, IMO, so if you do 105, 110, or 115, you’re still doing awesome!
Anyone want to talk about the Canadian Federal election??

I knew you would have my back. Now we need videos of Hallowed squating so we can give advice.

Def~
Clothing optional.
Nekkid preferred.
We used to do the whole volunteering thing (I kept things afloat March 2008) but since there’s only like 1000 people in the whole country at any given time, most everyone was getting tired of going in for seconds and thirds.
We’re voting on what type of computer operating system should be used to run the macro that will make all our decisions from now on.

All I read was poor grammar and spelling mistakes, courtesy of the American public education system.
