In Atlanta now, went to school in Mississippi, lived in SC, family in TN. Lived in Orlando for 5 years and can definitely say that is not the South. NC is nice, especially Charlotte area.

Florida has left it due to a culture change. Its not a good or bad thing, its just the truth.
Florida didn’t really fight in the Civil war. VA while indeed a confederate state, seems to have lost it’s way and seems to be more similar to Yankee land these days. Though it did yield the greatest general of all time.
