Ever Feel Like a Thread Killer? 30

Morning. I discovered today if I go to the gym before I go on tmuscle, I get my full workout in. It doesn’t work the other way around. Granted, I had a crappy workout, but I’m a weak presser anyway. I think I started too heavy on my warmups- started at 145 rather than 115 like normal, and wound up only hitting 245x3 instead of 275x3 like last week. Dang. Plus, I didn’t eat as much as I should have yesterday.

BUT

I got in my workout. That’s the key. And, today was somehow the “fine honeys” day at my gym, which is the first time ever. Before now I hadn’t seen a woman under 50 who wasn’t a trainer. All of the trainers? overweight. Except one guy who has an awesome upper body except he has a neck so thin I’m afraid someone will call his name, he’ll turn too fast it’ll snap and then just hang there, and no lower body.

work for 8 hours today… then tomorrow I get to go to utah! WOOHOO MAKEOUT TIME!!!

Umm…Sherman was born in Ohio.
Sherman was a joke compared to Lee. Also as someone from Atlanta I hate Sherman.

The South.

Florida has left it due to a culture change. Its not a good or bad thing, its just the truth.
Florida is in red. It is at the bottom of the US. It is in the south. Culture change or not. People still have the southern accents there.

Virginia is still a part of the south. There is no question about it. None. That is all. ;)
Man I lived in Florida for 5 years, you’re mistaken if you think that is a Southern accent. I know Southern accents having lived in MS, GA, SC, and visiting TN often.

Thats all huh? Just supposed to accept it?

haha curious, where are you from?
haha…New York. LOL. But, I currently have VA listed as my home of record.

Bettie…I thunk you were from Fontana…WTH? Ever get the PVC? ( I didn’t think so-)

Beast - I am soooo in on a nite of responsible inebriation. I’m usually the one that takes care of the drunks.

Bass - Beansie probably won’t agree, but when you have such a weak link in your power chain, it helps me to completely makeover your training. for instance, if power moves are your staple, I move on to a BB HIT program, for at least 12 weeks. including (shudder) using machines. Sacrilege, I know… and will get mercilessly flamed for this, but taking time off to heal is not acceptable, and continuing to injure the muscles are not acceptable either. This is really a good opportunity to access some different types of training and may, just may help to increase your overall fitness. my $.02.

so, anyways…was scheduled for jury duty yesterday and was excused. that’s always good, no?

Umm…while Sherman indeed understood this wild concept of the war of attrition, he was no military genius.

Gen. Lee embarrassed the hell out of the numerically and materially superior Union army with his maneuvers and strategic ability.
Ahh…so…who won the war again? WE DID! Though…they way the South is going nowadays…we might have been better off to let you all go.

LM, I’m kidding. My entire family on both sides are from the south. I’m all too familiar with the territory. But, the big thing is, I don’t really care about all of that. There are different dialects all over the place, really.

I know several people from Atlanta and they say that if we want to come down there and destroy it again, it would be okay with them. Maybe they’d get a better road system and better mass transit.

Yes, there are. IH makes fun of my nonexistent “accent” all the time. Which is okay because I make fun of his real accent all the time.

The trial was for a gangsta that was caught on weapons charges, firing a gun into an inhabited residence, felony gang activities, and a host of other issues. I had filled out the questionnaire and was released from my duties.

Prolly had something to do with the fact that I had 1 brother that did county time twice, and another that did state time. And I’m a heartless Ginger who has no soul. they didn’t say that, but it was implied.

Awesome video!

Im not FROM Fontana…was born there. I claim NV since I lived there longer than CA.

Didn’t mean to start a southern war! Can we all get along now?

LOLZ TRAV!!! Someone asked me how the training bizness was going…I just laughed and said ’ ain’t nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weight.’ And pointed behind me to the trainer having a girl doing incline presses with her feet up in the air into curls into a squat or some shiet…

good training today…put the 50s for inclinez…
Grneyes wrote:

For the first two years or so the South won the war, even against superior numbers, superior equipment. We were winning based on complete strategism genius by our generals. Ultimately we lost due to the 10:1 type personnel advantage. That’s like saying a physically retarded kid whooped the hell out of a professional boxer for 10 rounds but lost when the pro got a knockout in the 11th round. Sure the pro won, but he still got his ass handed to him for 10 rounds by a physically retarded person.

Depends what part of Atlanta you live in. North side is very nice. South side is very shitty. We’ll never have a decent mass transit system even if the New York transit people came down and made it for us. The logistics behind it are impossible due to the amount of urban sprawl we have due to a lack of geographical limitations for the city. It’s ever-expanding outwards.

lol @ the Ronnie quote, they probably didn’t get it. Oh well, all you can do is focus on yourself if clients aren’t biting, one way or another they’ll see a difference in results.

nice work on the incline
