Even More Movies You've Watched This Week

Any suggestions for shows/series that would be good for entertaining some sweet sweet vanilla?

The Walking Dead just isn’t cutting it.

DEXTER

Will Ferrell is awesome.

gonna watch red state =) curious about it after reading the title but avoiding all the spoiler in this thread.

Hangover 2. Did they even have a script or just took the old one and added a few new lines.

It was just ehh.

Rise of the planet of the apes was cool

Attack the Block

same people that made Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz. Pretty fucking funny at times, not nearly as good as Shaun of the Dead though. decent movie overall.

WTF!

they just added a shemale and a monkey and the same storyline and it was awesome.

Centurion.

This was a great movie, similar to Gladiator but not exactly. Worth watching for sure.

Watched Funny People couple days ago. Thought it was pretty good, had me guessing how it would end. Sandlers acting is crap for the most part but still funny, also some good cameos.

The Australian actor who played the Hulk was great in one scene where he was describing footy which is Aussie rules football while a game was on TV. " Now this little fucka gets the ball and hands it off to this little fucka, then he hands it off to the BIG fucka who runs over all the little fuckas" lol.

Killer Elite:

I had very little hope for this film, but you honestly can’t ask for much more in an action flick. The cast is good, the plotline works, and Statham sells himself as a badass once again, even if he is facing off against Clive Owen of all people.

just watched FRENEMY, a movie with a huge picture of Zach Galifianakis in the cover

WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH? COMPLETE RIP-OFF! HERE I THOUGHT IT WAS A NICE COMEDY WITH GALIFIANAKIS and he don’t spends even 20 minutes in the movie.

My Soul to Take

Shit, man.

I had a huge blind spot for Nic Cage’s acting quality for the past… 25 years of my life. But, ever since roybot pointed out how irredeemably awful he is, I can’t watch any more of his films without cringing.

I’ve vowed never to watch Con Air again in order to hold on to the fond memories I have of it.

BAM!

An Arab (with a Spanish accent, natch) teams up with Vikings to fight off forest-dwelling cannibals marauding the countryside dressed in bear-fur uniforms.

The Centurion recommendation inspired me to rewatch this… gonna give Centurion a shot now.

I love these types of movies (even liked the one where the Native American fought off the Vikings)

But is it weird that I spent the first 50 seconds of this preview thinking of Robert Downey, Jr. making out with Tobey Maguire?

Wonderland & Colombiana on my night off. Nothing like Val Kilmer playing a junky porn star with a legendary phallus… and still coming off like a eunuch. And Zoe, my lovely whip thin princess…

Great story, loved the movie, and loved the book more.

Epic Viking tale is Epic~

Went to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Had higher hopes for the film. David Fincher is an amazing director. I mean the only reason why The Social Network was any good was because of him and his choices (like getting Trent Reznor to do the great score); it certainly wasn’t because of the plot or characters.

Here Fincher seemed to be almost on auto-pilot. The movie is well-made, but COULD have been more memorable, but again I set up my expectations a bit too high.

The score by Reznor was also really good but strangely, not as memorable as the one he did for Social Network. I’ll priobably have to listen to it again to fully appreciate it more.

It’s still a good movie, but obviously a major déjà vu since I,ve seen it before in a different language and with different actors.

Rooney Mara was the high point. She is great in this, and gets all kinds of naked to boot (great ass !).
I also thought Daniel Craig was better than usual.

After seeing both versions, and having NOT read the book, I still don’t see what the big hoopla is about this story. I think the appeal really lies with the Lisbeth Salander character. I hope they adapt the next two books, as they focus more on her.

And bring back Rooney Mara.
