Alexus, I thought of you many times in the day or two after this accident and I am so very grateful I was not badly hurt. I am now very skittish of people pulling up to a stoplight or stopsign to my right quickly!

After kickboxing yesterday all I did yesterday in the gym was screw around with the video camera. I started at really light weight squat and just added 10 pounds to see how my form looked. I got into trouble at 115 by going too low. I should be able to do 130 so I figure that’s an anomaly but a learning experience.

Then I did some weighted chinups and maxed out at +25. I was a little disappointed because earlier this year I did +30 but I think the overall weakness was probably due to the earlier kickboxing class. I’ll kick of the real 4th cycle of 5/3/1 today with military press.
