The guards beat their asses. They should have killed them.

Wreckless is the perfect example of what is wrong in Europe.

He has sympathy for the terrorists and none for the people standing up to them.
They’re being turned into rodents that run and hide. Socialism has turned most of them into harmless little pets. Since pets can’t growl at the evildoers without getting their faces kicked in, they growl at their protectors.

There are exceptions but Europeans want to laugh and play while we protect them. They are pets.

We’ll never know if they’re innocent or guilty. They are never going to get a trial.

Perhaps you should look at the beam in your own eye, before you start pointing out the splinter in somebody elses eye.

If that’s “hate America”, I’m sorry.

Jesus is with ME though, not with you.
Sad to say but Wreckless might be right:

If so, they should be released. Of course, now, if they weren’t terrorists, they’ll want to be.

And yet, when we go all Schickelgruberian on you, you are also not happy…

Make up your mind!

So, Europeans are either pets or insane? Very disparaging of you…

I have sympathy for people held illegally. There is zero proof that they are terrorists.

You have sympathy for the people that torture them. There’s plenty of proof for that.

You are the perfect exemple of what is wrong with the US.

You seem very eager to kill suspected terorists Zap. Have you ever considered enlisting? I hear they have great opportunities for people like you in Iraq. Or do you prefer your victims unarmed and shackled?

When did you get to see the evidence of their guilt or innocence?

I much prefer the terrorists and terrorist sympathizers unarmed and shackled.

They are all innocent. Just ask them.

You really are clueless aren’t you?

In wars past these men would have been executed long ago. They are lucky they are still alive.

I have no idea if any are innocent and neither do you. I am sure that you will find some link “proving” they are innocent.

Of course there have been countless “innocent” people released from Abu Graib that have commited further acts of terrorism.

It is a serious problem because the Iraqi people don’t think we are serious about stabilizing their country because we keep releasing terrorists.

Guilty untill proven innocent eh doogie?

There still is the small matter of proof.
A couple of them have been released after several years. I guess they were terrorists for all these years, and then all of a sudden became innocent.

I would prefer the tortures sympathizers were tortured.

Guilty untill proven otherwise eh Zap?

No, you are.

What wars would that have been Zap? Even the evil Nazis agreed to the Geneva convention, at least on Western POW’s. Can’t we hold the Bush regime to the same standard as the evil Nazi’s?

That’s not my job. That’s the job of the prosecution. They have the resources.

Of course you have a link?

If you think that this is the most serious problem, it’s obviously that doens’t have a clue.

But dream on Zap. How about my suggestion to enlist?

The terrorists in Gitmo do not fall under the Geneva Conventions’ guidelines. They have no rights - or shouldn’t. Adn they should all be summarily executed for being associated with the Taliban.

Not something a peacenik america hater like you wants to hear - but I really don’t care what someone in Belgium thinks about the U.S. We have been far to PC in this war on terror, death should be dolled out like candy, only with extreme prejudice.

You said there is zero proof they are terrorists. I haven’t made a judgement yet.

What evidence did the government provide you with to convince you there was zero proof?

There really isn’t much difference between you and Saddam, is there?

Am I an America hater for hoping that the leader of the free world wouldn’t stoop to Saddams level?

It looks like you’ve still got a few things to learn about how the system works (or at least should work).

The prosecuter gives proof of guilt. If he doesn’t, you can’t hold people in jail.

I hope this clarifies things for you.

I don’t think you have grasped the concept that this is a shooting war and not a courtroom drama.

Oh - there are huge differences between me and Sadaam. You are just so narrow minded and lazy that this is the best you have to offer. This is why no one with a functioning brainstem takes you seriously here.

Ok, but combine that attitude with kidnapping EU citizens and “freedom-tickling” them a little and NEVER, EVER, AGAIN, ask why Europeans have a hard time following Americas lead.

If we did that to your citizens, then what?

Wait a minute…

You are saying that everyone has to right to be accused in a court of law by a jury of his peers?

Thats just crazy talk and you know it.

Where would we be without unlimited executive powers?

Checks and balances? More liberal talking points!

A question to the American conservatives:

What exactly is it you conserve?

Illegal enemy combatants have no rights.

Not under the Constitution.
Not under the Geneva Convention.
