Unless you are fine with Israel going and killing several hundred people every few years (MOWING THE GRASS) then Israel must take a different approach because at present what they are doing will not and has not been very effective and has had to be very expensive .
All my friends at PWI with their star spangled erections have to realize things will change , your foe (HUMAS:) will change will get weapons that can reach Tel Aviv , the game will change at some point . I will bet on it
If Hamas gets weapons which can reach Tel-Aviv, what would that change? Israel will continue to do what it is doing now.
The other approaches you listed in the thread above have all been tried and failed.
Israel going and killing several hundred people every few years is a result of non-stop attacks by Hamas. I guess you are fine with Hamas kidnapping and murdering several students. Was that the right thing to do?

Or maybe this?

Beat me to it. There are also multiple reasons why the 2 conflicts are different. So, before using Northern Ireland as an example, it should be remembered that the force of the analogy is not watertight, not even close.
Being Northern Irish, I felt I should mention this. Derail over.
Should they be killed? Is it an advisable tactics? Israel wants to be a part of the western world, so they can’t annihilate the palestinians. Probably they don’t even want to. That is the situation. Any suggestions?
Conquering them and forcibly converting them to Roman Catholics seemed to work in most of the world.
They were most likely Coptic Christians before the terrorist Prophet concurred their lands and forced conversion.

Lies. Gaza and West Bank are one of the most obese nations in the world, 8th in men and 3rd in women.
Plus, IDF is shipping a half ton of trucks to give Gaza food, medicine, water, and Israel is giving power for free to people in PA. Even opening a hospital up for Gazans.

In fairness to Pittbull, it’s very popular among liberal circles to glorify terrorists. It’s part of the self-hatred thing they have going on.
As an aside, anyone in doubt of President Obama’s position on Israel needs to just look to Obama’s brother, Malik, the head of the “Barack H Obama Charity.”
Mr. Malik Obama is a card-carrying member of Hamas. He is seen here wearing the Hamas scarf, which states “Palestine from the River to the Sea.”
Mr. Malk Obama funds Hamas through another “charity” called Islamic Daâ??wa Organization (of which he is the Excecutive Secretary). Islamic Daâ??wa Organization POURS cash into Hamas.
If you have any doubt what this money is used for, here is an example of a Hamas fund raising letter:
"The price of Kalashnikov bullet is $3 and the price of the Kalashnikov gun itself now is $2,000; it was $3,500 a couple of months ago. Did you know that the price of R-P-G is $12,000 and the price of T.N.T. thatâ??s used by your mujahideen brothers is $100 a kilo? Martyr Izz el-Deen el-Qassam Phalanxes now manufactures Al-Qassam land-to-land missiles in different sizes and also the anti-shields Al-Banna bomber, Martyr Izz el-Deen el-Qassam Phalanxes also supervises the development of fighting, defensive and attacking weapons and other much projects mustnâ??t be elaborated for confidentiality purposesâ?¦
Your brothers,
Martyr Izz el-Deen el-Qassam Phalanxes
The military wing of Hamas movement- Palestineâ??
What is Israel’s end-game for this offensive? Bomb the Palestinians into submission (we know that won’t happen)? Simply destroy the tunnels and known weapons caches?
Have they stated an immediate goal?
According to The Guardian, more Israelis have died during this offensive than the last 5 years combined.
