Escalation in Israel

Pretty much like any long time Democrat-controlled city, actually.

This kind of decay happens when people elect corrupt leaders out of hate for other people.

the reason we have a problem in Gaza today is because Israel is in violation of international law and Un resolutions, there will never be a military solution to this conflict-

 1. stop the killing
 2. stop the blockade
 3. stop stealing land by building settlements
 4. respect international law on the Palestinian people’s right to self determination,
Okay, then the most important question. Will it give peace? I have my doubts about that. Bugger, i bought a pad and this is really awkward to use. Ive lost my writing twce already. I must switch.t.
We can agree on that. What about Israels reservations? Are you convinced this straight path would bring peace? I’m not, that Hamas would lower it’s weapons and start building a functioning society. y.
This is the simplest problem in the world to solve. Palestine must renounce violence and acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. That’s it. If they do that very simple thing, there will be peace between them. More than that, prosperity.
How do people not know that the end game is the destruction of Israel? It’s declared from rooftops, it’s the public stance of groups like hamas.
If there only was a Palestine to do that, and I don’t mean geographically. They really are in need of a good leader.
There probably would have been by this point if, when the elections were held, the Fatah had won. The UN was moving to make that happen the best they could, but little did they know, by getting a political party to renounce violence against Israel, they essentially secured the election for the party that would scream “Fuck that, we don’t want our own country, we want Israel and the heads of all the Jews in it”. That’s what is being missed by the anti-Israel wingbats in this thread. Half of the Palestinian people were in agreement that they would rather kill Jews than have peace. That was essentially what the election was in 2006, a vote for a strained peace or a vote for “Lets kill us some Jews”.

Yes, that was when Baba Ganoush was elected Prime Minister, but his wife Tahini moved to a fashionable Paris apartment.

I find it ironic the definition of

Se·mit·ic
səˈmitik/
adjective
adjective: Semitic

1.
relating to or denoting a family of languages that includes Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian, constituting the main subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic family.
2.
relating to the peoples who speak the Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic.

the the definition of antisemitic

anti-Semitism. discrimination against or prejudice or hostility toward Jews.

when you add anti to Semitic they forget about all the other Arabs

IMO Israels is being Anti Semitic
Have you been reading the thread or just pulling things out of your ass? You are aware that the Palestinians blew up the powerplant? Or do you not believe that because it came from a non-Palestinian (not Israeli either mind you) source? I mean if the Palestinian Times didn’t report it then it must not be true?
I am aware Israel says Humas blew up the plant.

Another assetion you are making is that all Palestinians are Humas .

Your statement "Palestinians blew up the powerplant? " is incorrect and should be noted

yes , but yours is laced with Thorazine

Pat, wouldn’t it be a lot nicer if Hamas dropped leaflets into Israel to let them know they are going to fire rockets. That would be a lot better wouldn’t it?

If that’s the “score”, you’d THINK those stupid muther fuckers would stop firing rockets at Israel…
Why? so the can die or starvation and die slowly later? the conditions in Gaza are so bad due to the blockade where Israel stops food, medicine, water, power etc that its not worth living - Gaza is the world’s largest prizon
So you think that the LOGICAL solution is for Hamas to KEEP firing rockets into Israel, but that Israel should just do nothing… You are fucking retarded.

Read the thread, idiot - Israel SUPPLIED Gaza with power, but Hamas fired rockets at the power plant! And then they cry, “oh, it’s so HORRIBLE here”… They are fucking STUPID! That’s what the problem is.
not everyone in Gaza is firing rockets, certainly not the children or the disabled people resting in their homes
And Israel drops leaflets, makes calls and tells the people what is being targeted and when. Israel is giving the innocents the chance to get out of harms way.
Further, they can identify themselves as innocents and not be harmed. I really don’t know what else they can do. They are trying to minimize civilian casualties as much as possible, but if you have hamas hiding behind people and those people complicit in hamas’s actions, there is not much Israel can do. They have to eliminate the threat. They have the right to protect themselves and if, after all the warnings they choose to stay in harm’s way, then bad things will happen.
If somebody says ‘leave because we’re going to blow your house up’ I am leaving. I may not like it. I may be mad about it, but I ain’t sticking around. Hamas uses human shields, that’s not Israel’s fault. They’ve done what the can about it, but in the end they have to solve the problem and I don’t blame them.

Imagine what the U.S. would do to a country who fired thousands of rockets at civilians? Imagine what we would demand we do. Any country would do the same.
Pitbull,

If Israel wanted to kill Hamas (Humus) and didn’t give a shit about collateral damage, Hamas would have been destroyed a long time ago. There are FAR more ways to wage a campaign when you don’t care about civilians. There are many more efficient ways to wage war, quicker ways to kill the enemy.

In essence, Israel is fighting with one gun tied behind its back. So answer this: if Israel doesn’t care about civilian casualties, WHY are the fighting in the manner they are?? Why?

Dude! That’s like if America bombed Russia, and when Russia retaliated dumbasses like you start saying, “America ISN’T the Democrats. You mean Russians are killing INNOCENT Republicans”. TOUGH SHIT. If the GOVERNMENT that YOU ELECT, one that represented a MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE, decides to commit an action of war against another state, THEN THE WHOLE COUNTRY IS ACCOUNTABLE.

I contend the reason Israel does not is cost and IMO it is short sighted
