Escalation in Israel

I personally can not believe putting a power plant in Israel was a bright Idea , just saying

Good, Hamas stinks. They’re obviously hurting the Palestinian people more than helping. Too many Palestinians are probably too brain washed to realize it. Maybe this will lead to other Arab states concerned with radicals to speak up too.
Agreed.
Don’t get your hopes up.

Here’s a shock, the cease fire failed:

“The Israel Defense Forces said 47 rockets were fired into Israel during the cease-fire period, which Hamas never accepted.”

Proof positive Hamas wants peace with Israel…

If it wasn’t tragic it would be funny, but it’s not funny, just absurd.

Maybe not now, but could happen in the near future. I couldn’t have predicted Egypt speaking up although I know they have a complex history with Israel. If radicals start making more noise in the GCC countries or they start coming in from the Levant you might see a change in attitude.

No , explain to me what possible benefit Humas would have to blow up Palestine’s electrical grid ? That is an essential question

Just because you can’t understand something doesn’t make it false. There is no evidence to the contrary. You’re just speculating off of nothing and making shit up. It’s idiotic.

Yeah, even the slightest bit of support for Israel coming from Egypt or anywhere else for that matter is a miracle in it’s own right, but I am still skeptical. I guess maybe they see the defeat of Hamas as a defeat for the Muslim Brotherhood?
I am pessimistic about the whole thing really. We’ve seen this script played out again and again. Hamas does something to Israel, Israel gets pissed off and retaliates. Tensions rise, the U.S. comes in and tells Israel to show restraint, bunch of rhetoric and condemnations, stuff dies down a bit until the next time Hamas pisses off Israel.

Do you even read the posts?

The power plant in question is in Israel because it is Israeli.

Israeli supply electricity free-of-charge to Judea and Samaria because the arabs mismanaged, broke, and then looted the power plants built with USA taxpayer money in Judea and Samaria.

The biggest point I got out of the article is how much Palestine owes Israel to furnish electricity to their confinement

How much electricity does Egypt supply?

Or do you have a different standard for them?

Posted this in the wrong thread. This is about an 11 minute primer on the situation. Watch it and amaze your friends

If the Hamas never accepted the cease-fire, how are rockets fired into Israel “during” the cease-fire period?

The arabs who show up claiming to have authority (e.g., Abbas, although I don’t think he was in play this time) are rejected as to having authority to make a peace deal once a peace deal is reached.

That is, unless it suits the arab side.

In short, it’s kabuki theatre, not actual negotiations.

I don’t know what exactly you’ve posted in the past but I’d like to know if you have an idea on how there would ever be progress and what would need to happen. Do you think there will be indefinite conflict for the next 5 decades or more, or is there a path to a solution? I’m looking for something more than a one sentence answer but I understand if you don’t have the time to do that. Also, can you briefly compare the situation now to the 90s or early 2000s; is it better or worse?

I can’t decide if his idiocy makes things more fun here, or is just a pain in the ass.
All I have to say is fuck you all  If you can not have a discussion that disagrees with your point of view , you have a little penis , OH I mean mind

BBC reports Humas and Palestine never got a copy of saId proposal

I can’t believe Israel is agreeing to a ceasefire already. They should grind these cockroaches into the ground and tell the international community to go fuck themselves.

cut that grass

Why should Israel care about palestinian civilian deaths when Hamas don’t care?
Bombing Gaza is not going to work, though. Is this the third round already? One doesn’t have to have much psychological insight to see it wont work as an deterrent, it will only create more future “freedomfighters” for Hamas. And Hamas is satisfied.

Maybe the bombings are primarily for domestic politics, to give the impression that something is done. Which is of course true, but will it in any way prevent a new round in the near future?
Maybe Israel could actively host all kind of international conferences. The subject doesn’t matter, just pay all the costs when they are arranged in Ashkelon.
