I’m currently on 120mg Cypianate divided into three 20mg injections/week for the past six months. I would like to increase my dose but concerned about high Estrogen. One clinic I am speaking with wants to increase me to 180mg/week Cypianate divided into every other day injections and prescribe 5mg/week Anastrozole. I’ve seen some people say Aromasin has less side effects. I also saw that Equipoise also acts as an aromatase inhibitor. Does anyone have any experience with this? How do you determine the appropriate dose of Equipoise to lower your Estrogen to a ‘better’ amount and get the anabolic muscle gains from Equipoise as well? I’m aware of the negative side effects of Equipoise so not looking to do a crazy amount. I was hoping there is a ‘safe’ low dose where I could get some muscle building benefit while keeping my Estrogen in check without having to utilize Anastrozole or Aromasin or some other.
I don’t have anything useful to add, but it’s really weird to me they marketed a steroid under a brand name that’s a clinical term that means “balance”.
I did my injection on Monday evening and the blood draw was Wednesday morning so the 1,133 probably was not the trough. They said I would feel better if my free T was higher. Prior to starting TRT my Total Testosterone measured from 239 ng/dL up to the highest at 340. I tested it over the span of one year and It mostly stayed around 275 ng/dL. Comparing then and now I feel no difference at all. Not only do I want to fix the low T symptoms but I love to lift and want to get the most out of TRT that I can.
I started at 100mg/week divided into two injections and then after three months went up to 120mg/week divided into three injections. So far no estrogen issues.
First, I wouldn’t raise with the numbers you have.
Second, I’d wait and see if you have problems. Estrogen does not respond to testosterone in a linear manner (closer to a logarithmic function). Testosterone also acts on some of the same receptors as estrogen, which can blunt estrogen’s effects.
As strange as it sounds, I’ve seen guys have estrogen issues at lower doses that go away with higher doses. I’m guessing the lower dose was close to their max estrogen production (close to all the aromatase enzyme was being used). Upping test gave them more androgens with about the same estrogen.
Of course, ymmv. You may not get this effect (or not strong enough of an effect to relieve high estrogen symptoms). But I’d wait and see before changing things up. Try to only change one thing at a time. Makes things a lot easier.
Typo? Do not take 5 mg of adex a week.
This doesn’t add up. I’m guessing you’re on 40 mg injections?
