Definitely not.

Bathrooms with are non-negotiable. Many gym-goers expect to be able to shower after a workout.

I planned on doing the cleaning myself. I see no reason to pay somebody to clean floors and wipe stuff down.

I agree. Electric hand dryers are an immense cost saver in the long run as well.

My focus now is on equipment selection. I was initially going to get everything from Body Solid because it was economical. However, they are primarily a home equipment company and their commercial equipment doesn’t have a lot of reviews.

I don’t want to learn the hard way that Body Solid shouldn’t have been trusted. Now I am thinking of going with more reputable companies like Rogue and Nautilus for the big stuff, but Body Solid for the small stuff. "Big stuff’ includes power racks and leg presses, and “small stuff” includes leg extensions and calf raise machines. Does this sound like a good idea? And what do you think about Body Solid?

I’ll likely make a new thread on this subject.

Yes. I had a bench and lat/row machine from them. It was nice for home use. Good fit & finish, everything functioned as it should. It was not for commercial use though.

I think their parent company is Parabody, and they have (or had) a nice line of commercial equipment. A friend of mine has a few pieces of theirs that are very nice, good construction, etc.

Not sure how EliteFTS would fit into your picture, but their racks, reverse hyper, and GHR stand are Very well built.

EliteFTS is the third company I am looking at.

Parabody doesn’t seem to have an online presence anymore. Maybe they are no longer active. Did you get their commercial lat pulldown machine for your house or their home-rated equipment?

Lol.

It wouldn’t be a big gym.

I should be clear that I don’t mean the equipment. It’s standard nowadays to have lifters clean the stuff after they use them.

I got their home rated equipment.

Okay. I’m hoping their commercial equipment is good. They offer lifetime warranties on some of them. I need to ask around some more, though.

All are accounted for except the first two.

Legit heavy KB
Farmer Carry implements
Viking Press

That will only keep the pads clean , still going to need to dust / wipe down the rest of the machine. Also add in the time to check the machines are operating correctly and bolts aren’t coming loose.
