how do pro cyclists who dope continue to pass their tests ? seems like so many of them- whole teams even, test clean for years before getting caught.
are the tests easy to beat or does everyone look the otherway ?
The protocol for EPO(erythopoetein) is simple, it is used as a training drug, just like your testosterone. When it comes to competition, the usage decreases about 4 weeks out, with complete cessation 2 weeks before scheduled testing. The user still maintains an elevated red blood cell count, but is usually just below the 50% limit. EPO is good, but DPO(darbepoetein) is king, less injections and a longer half-life. I wish I could get my hands on some, for a little trial, nearly impossible if you are not a pro athlete. You can’t even get it in Mexico. All competative cyclists still use, don’t be fooled, it is dirtier than ever, just really quiet.
If they’re all using then the playing field is even. That doesn’t make it cheating any more in my book.
Steely has a point as long as everyone does it the field is level, but cheating is cheating and well, should be dealt with. if everyone were jumping off cliffs would you do it? just food for thought.
