Epic TRAINING Time

Back density is insane dude. Great density, without looking too overly huge/bloated, all over and looking pretty great proportion wise. Inspirational progress man!

Very solid, that seems like pretty much on the money bodyfat for gaining muscle for someone who’s willing to work hard on the diet side of things too.

Critical feedback (lagging bodyparts, posing trouble, etc.) is always welcome, too. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying to get there!
Lol You’re lucky in my eyes; I envy guys that started out training legs first. Mine are growing EXTREMELY quickly now, but they’re still a little ways off from being as dense and detailed as my upper body.

Always nice to meet a serious fellow BB around my age, man. Don’t be a stranger. Do you have a log?

Yeah… Eff that guy. Either he’s wasting his potential by “supplementing” way too much way too early (MY OPINION), or he really is natural, and he’s gonna be 350 on stage one day. Either way, he sucks. Lol[/quote]

Haha I totally get what you mean about Alex. Not clued up on the “supps” side but either way dudes probably gonna be a beast. Aaron Clark is still the man to beat though, I remember a couple years back when I weighed maybe 160 if that messaging him on myspace with newbie questions… haha, good times… would kill for him advice these days!

I’ll be sticking 'round. Yeah I’ve got a log going here, “Jake’s Road To Bodybuilding”, update it more or less every day and got some pics and videos there. FWIW I look much better in the mirror then in a lot of the quick shots I have thrown up there, perhaps only the first shot I uploaded was in decent lighting. I’m on course for a ton of progress though  Lots of weight (195~ atm) & strength to gain to say the least!!

Yeah, I try to kinda just do a steady weight gain, eating a lot of clean food and some junk… I don’t really have the money to do an all-out bulk right now, considering I hit probably 5k or so calories per day just to kinda stay gaining SOMETHING.

Yeah, he’s a total monster, dude. Crazy…

Yeah I imagine I’ll be similar near your bodyweight, as it is now as long as I hit ~4200 per day or so I should be gaining… doubt I’ll be going past about 4400 to reach 200lb morning weight…

SWEET. I needed a workout SO badly. Pretty awesome pump. Pressing felt much smoother after warming up my medial delts. I think I’m gonna start doing this regularly.
Weight was down to 213 from 214.5 Saturday, so I grabbed 20 nuggets, a 1/4lb’er with cheese, and a Mcflurry afterwards. Yum.

Ok, so this was a total departure from the norm. Worked chest Monday and it was still super-sore, but my back has kinda been giving me some pain in my right lower trap, and only outside the gym. It just gets sore and aches sometimes. I need to go back to the chiropractor, and it’s kinda worrying me, so I didn’t wanna do an all-out back workout like normal.
Guess it didn’t really make sense to then go heavier than I ever have on BB Rows and Rack Pulls, but whatever. Ended up feeling really good and getting a great upper-body pump.
 Kinda effed myself afterward, because I went to hang out with an old friend and only had Anabolic Halo, a Mountain Dew, and some Mini Reese’s until, like, 2 hours after my workout. Oh, well. I’ll bring some food when I go tonight.

Hey man, I’m going to hit up GNC tomorrow. Any tips/advice on how to maximize the savings?

Hey, bro. Just check the dates and ask the GNC salesman how much anything you want is. Just tell him the date and he’ll be able to tell you if it’s marked down and how much.

@Blaze- No thanks, the sides hit me too hard. I’ll do it again when I can afford the proper cycle therapy and stuff. But overall, I think I’ve done myself more harm than good by taking prohormones; my natural test is fine, and I’ve messed up my levels slightly already, I think. I’m just staying mainly natural (no prohormones, serious supplements, etc.) for a while.

@xD- :wink:

AWESOME night. Great pump, great PRs. Failing twice in a row in a really crowded gym was really demoralizing and I almost doubted myself for a minute, but I went and sat down for a while, got my breath back, and decided not to let this beat me.
My iPod was also dying, and my earbuds weren’t fitting in my ears correctly, but I doggedly kept trying to make it work until the second failed set. Then I changed my strategy: found a spotter for the next sets, and had them slap me on the back as hard as they could right before I squatted on each of the last 4 sets. That always helps me a lot.
Glad I did a full leg night.
AND only 217 tonight in clothes, so not even at my heaviest ever…
