Just the other day heard that the government is thinking about scheduling ephedrine. For those of you who don’t know what scheduling is, they make it illegal. For example marijuana is scheduled. Depending on certain factors of the drug determines it schedule. I forgot the order from most to least harmful, but I do know that the rating goes from 1-5. This could be a line of bullshit, I am not sure, but I just thought let all of you know. Just looking out for the people who actually give a shit about their health and appearence.
I would like to know what are suplement companies doing about this. What is Twinlab, EAS, Biotest, Cytodine, Met-RX, whatever, doing??? I guess nothing, and because of that, we are going to lose the only supplement effective for fat loss. Please, correct me if I’m wrong.
There has been talk about this for years, but nothing has been done to get ephedra off the shelves (maybe for PPA though). There is a lobby to keep ephedra in the market, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Like Reeshdawg said, there has been “talk” and “rumors” of an ephedra ban for years. Back in 1995 when I was in college, my friends and I went as far as to buy as much of it as we could afford (stockpile) because we were sure a ban was forthcoming. Seven years later, I think its more readily available than ever. Relax, the sky isn’t falling.
Hey thanks for clearing that up guys. Lets hope it never does happen though.
I don’t understand about the PPA though!!
Biotest said the FDA made them take it out, so how come Adiopokinetix by Syntrax still has norephidrine in it?? There are also a couple of not-so-well known brands selling norephidrine products too, so what’s up?
Maybe Bill Roberts could address this??
