Body weight circuit

This essentially was a circuit of burpees, pushups, and body weight squats.

30-45 seconds rest for 5 rounds, and 10 reps.

:sparkles: Update :sparkles:

Finances are in a bind, and the commercial gym my husband and I frequent has been rather dishonest with us, and has also done something that’s screwed up both of our accounts.

So my husband has decided we no longer will be going there. He proposes planet fitness which I wouldn’t mind except for the lack of a squat rack, we’re going next week to pay off any remaining balance and cancel the current memberships we have.

kind of frustrated honestly. A gym is technically better than no gym, and I haven’t had the opportunity nor space to have my own home gym.

I guess I’m at a cross roads with my training style, and currently being too hardheaded to switch up stuff. I always say this and I guess I’m scared to lose my progress/strength, but it doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere anyways.

so…. Hopefully I can figure something out, or just be more diligent to accept changes.

Speaking only for myself- theres like a base level of strength that just doesn’t go away. Even after some serious health stuff, long layoffs, etc. Its just there. :man_shrugging:t2:.

Granted, I’ve never been like super strong or anything, so maybe its a case of not much to lose, but I look at it like a beneficial plateau- the opposite of the ones we try to break through on the way up.

An old lifting buddy of mine is similar. He can walk into a gym right now and pull 4 plates. Not the 8+ that he used to, but still! Thats a good bit.

Not trying to invalidate, but more like encourage. I think you have a great base level of strength and knowledge of how to get strong. :+1:

This is like the polar opposite of that my friend, thank you.

I do think you’re right about some base level of strength that just doesn’t go anywhere.

I also forget that while it’s a bit more difficult for women to put on muscle and build strength, it also takes a long, if not longer time for it to go away. That’s if it even goes away lol.

thank you for helping me though. Im just being a grouch and stubborn

My husband hates this somewhat old school cartoon called Osmosis Jones with Chris Rock and Bill Murray, but I honestly love it. Core childhood memory, and I used to always watch it as a kid.

It’s also the movie that helped me stop eating dropped food on the ground as a child, because that was a pretty persistent habit I picked up lol.
