Yes I totally agree !! Can be really hard to do things as planned sometimes because that has to pop up so often .
I used to take it right around when I met my husband. Could only get passed 3 solid months before I would throw up constantly, and I would always get an odd skin reaction from the injection site. Left it alone after month six.
Some women aren’t really suited for it. Me included.
I’m sure I could look around for slightly different formulas, but I’d rather just be uncomfortable for a week, than reacting to medicine in a negative way for months at a time.
Maybe when I get older as my hormones change, things might sharpen up. I suppose I’m just sensitive, because birth control medication does the same thing. So we just stock up on condoms, and I track my ovulation peaks. Bada boom. Lol.

I must say, I am very pleased with this working set I was able to do. Granted it wasn’t light, but I remember when I couldn’t bench 135 for two reps.

Judge me all you wish, but I decided to take it way back and felt like jumping around, so I dug up one of favorite songs from the 80s. As a 90s baby the remnants of 80s music make me do a happy dance. Needless to say I couldn’t keep with shit in this video.
Not sure what the heck was going on with fitness back then, but this aerobics championship dance team honestly puts Tae-Bo to shame.
And I’m also gonna be feeling this tomorrow.
This was me and hubby for Valentine’s Day.
We went to Moody Gardens. Diving lady got in the picture with us
This was for Chinese New Year. This is my mom. Not me. Granted we look exactly alike.
So, that’s where all my dance moves came from ![]()
The west side story move at 1:40 had me cracking up.
No kidding. Same as my wife and mother in law.

ME deadlift
Warm up: 5 min walk, leg press 135 for about 20 reps total
Work up:
135x3
135x3
225x2
315x2
315x2
335x1
370x1 (PR) pretty sure my deadlift is gonna pass up my squat. Although that’s usually how it’s supposed to be anyways. Idk. Lifts take turns progressing. Eventually my deadlift will slow down, and my squat will pick back up. Eventually.
Assist:
SLDL: 135 4x5
Leg curls: 100 3x3, 85 2x3, 75 3x5
Hanging leg raises: 6x10
Foam rolling
Battle ropes
Back feels great. No pain or stiffness anywhere. Upper back occasionally gets stiff, but that’s it.
Look at the assistance work you’ve been doing that you haven’t before. Is it possible that’s why your DL is taking off?
Wow girl. You are strong…
I think so. However I don’t think I’ve been doing it frequently enough. But still.
I think it also has something to do with how long I give myself a rest from deadlifting. When I’d rotate it every four to five days, I usually had to cap it somewhere lower than the max I’d given myself according to that training day, because I could already feel that my deadlift max wasn’t going to be that much since I’d rotate it so frequently.
Now, I throw my deadlift back into mix after about a week and a half or two weeks. By then I’m well rested up, and the muscles used for dead’s still get involved, probably secondary when I squat and do squat accessory stuff.
I think my squat is going to have to do the same thing. At least on max attempt days. Lately I had been squatting a crap ton since the beginning of this year, and I think I’m also stagnating because I need to back off a bit.
That’ll leave me with a large gap of rest time, however I think I can fill that up with more benching, because I realize my bench needs a lot more attention.
Why thank you.
However I don’t think I’m that strong. Yet.
PR – BOOM – great work Cyber.
Yeah you are strong.
Holy Pr!!
I was linked to your journal, and I am glad I was. Your lifts are inspiring!!
Thank you ![]()
Forgot to log for like the last week. Nothing spectacular.

BB complex
All using 135lbs. Our gym now has bumper plates. Only two pairs of 45s, and a pair of 25s. However I don’t think the barbell is a Texas Bar, or any properly calibrated 20.45 kilogram bar. Because it’s insanely light. So it’s probably 5-10lbs lighter.
