Enough reason to start trt?

Hello, I am considering if I should start doing trt. Im a 28-year old male. Im having long lasting symptoms of fatigue, depression and general lack of motivation. I tried ssris to fix this, but they didnt help at all. Could the symptoms resolve if free testosterone was in the upper end of reference range?

Bloodtests:

SHBG 99 nmol/l. Free testosterone 369 pmol/l. Total testosterone 40.7 nmol/l.

E2 0,10 nmol/l. LH 3,4 U/l. TSH 1,6. T4V 16.

What are the lab ranges on your current blood draw? If you go from low FT to high end FT yes it’s possble to get some relief but whether that’s your solution or not is not diagnosable from this limited information.

I’d look at diet, sleep habits, exercise, and lifestyle in general first to resolve them.

I know it’s boring advice, but it’s important.

Which could have disrupted your hormone production. I agree with @Brant_Drake , get diet, SLEEP(this is a big one), and exercise/body comp in order. I’d add stay away from anti depressants, recreational drugs and excessive alcohol. Do all that for 8 months consistently, see if you’re feeling better and get your bloods redone.

Total testosterone: 9.2 - 31.8 nmol/l, mine: 40.7 nmol/l

Free testosterone: 220 - 800 pmol/l, mine : 369 pmol/l

T4-V: 9 - 19 pmol/l, mine: 16 pmol/l

E2: 0 - 0.15 nmol/l, mine: 0.10 nmol/l

LH: 1 - 9 U/l, mine: 3.4 U/l

TSH: 0.4 - 4.5 mU/l, mine: 1.6 mU/l

FSH: 2 - 10 U/l, mine: 9.4 U/l

Ferrit: 30 - 195 ug/l, mine: 130 ug/l

These are the average numbers from 3 tests past 2 years.

You need to either post the most current or each individual test would be better so we can see a trend.
