Efficient Use of Training Time

Does anyone remember where Jim roughly outlined how long each aspect of your training should take? It said something along the lines of warmup 10minutes, main work 10-15 minutes, ect. I have searched and searched but I can’t find the post anywhere. Just looking for it as a reference, not to be used as a strict timeline, mostly curiosity as to what he recommended.

I always take about 45-60 minutes to get a workout in. I don’t worry about specifics, just it takes around there always.

Thanks, but I am not looking for it to follow it to a T, only out of curiosity and reminder of what was said. But as I said, I can’t find it, so I was wondering if anyone else remembers what thread it was in? If no one knows, then I will just forget about it.

Yeah, don’t worry too much about time. Warming-up probably should take about 10-minutes, mobility work… is highly individualized IMO as some folks need more and some just need some basic work. I would say my mobility work takes a good 20-30 minutes depending on how everything feels that day.

It was on the q&a elitefts. I’d copy and paste but on my phone. Its under Training and a question about assistance work.

start go to gym, train , leave got it done.
