It was a little rocky but we got there! High 5 !

Thanks for responding. I’m only on it for a week - had a cyst removed and I believe it is to bring down the infection so that they can go in and remove the sack (this is the second time it has filled up).

I just like to party and am okay with cutting down, seeing as the rate at which I normally drink would probably remove any possibility of this drugs’ effectiveness - however, I was wondering if it would okay to maybe get drunk once or twice depending on the occassion or at least drink in more moderation. I know I will probably end up making a less educated decisioin and hope to prevent any negative consequences as much as possible lol.

Everybody else can carry on lol.

no interaction with alcohol and Tetracycline. Only real alcohol and antibiotic bad reaction is with Flagyl, you will be puking all night long.

Heavy alcohol consumption will decrease the effectiveness of the antibiotic, but will not have bad reaction affects.

Are you on it for Acne? Or something else.[/quote]

My suggestion honestly if you are taking for 10 days, just drink in moderation, do not get hammered. Wait until you are done.

Thanks. While you’re here… any thoughts on lifting with a couple of stitches in your ass?

Was told to lay off for two weeks or just do light lifting, but I’m not quite sure what light lifting means or whether or not this is even necessary judging by the amount and location of the stitches.

You have a Pilonidal cyst dont you?

My suggestion if you are young, just take off from any lower body stuff, or anything that puts pressure on your backside. If I were you to help with the healing, just take off from working out period. Let you body heal, take your meds, eat really clean with lots of Protein and get a lot of sleep.

Its better to take off 10 days then prolong something that could just keep being a problem for months.

Ahh, shit nah… I do not think that is it at all lol.

Most likely I will abstain from alcohol b/c moderation isn’t something I excel at. I will probably attack working out by feel for the two weeks after I am off the antibiotics (having surgery immediately after them).

Thanks.
