Sorry 'bout your shitty sleep. You need to master the art of the internal alarm clock. I have not slept with a clock beside my bed in about a year and I wake up at almost the exact same time every single day!
Yep, it works wonders!
How do you master the internal alarm clock?
Nice OH presses Print and chins. Maybe set the alarm on your cell phone?
I sleep with earplugs in so I’d sleep though everything shutting off.

McTarnahans lotion. Unbelievable how well this stuff works. For those that don’t know what it is, google it. You might be surprised.

Holla back baby girl. What’s shakin’?
I think I do have the internal clock. What I don’t like, is having it feel like I’m taking a dirt nap. To much quiet is not a good thing for me.

I’m super confused. Who’s log is this? Regardless, there’s a crap ton of nice lifting.
Print: I’ll second the thought that you look like a younger Jack Nicholson. Next time put your teeth in man. The abs are looking sassy though.
Edgy: I’ve been sitting here waiting on the 405 confirmation. Chop. Chop. Also, print is right that the best way to master the internal clock is to have children. It may seem extreme, but it works.
Charlie: I saw your video in race for plates. Awesome job. How long to the big plates?

Thanks!
Well I plan on doing heavy singles again in a month or so, so I’ll probably see how far I can get then. I have some bench cues/form to work on in the mean time.

LULZ! O’ you always give me the best chuckles. Hope all is going well for you.
Ha! Charlie-I have a slew of wifebeaters, i’ll be sure to wear one tomorrow for DL day. Channelling my inner cholo sounds exactly like the piece i’ve been missing.
Print: Thanks for the castor oil report. Google’s first option for your black magic is ‘theharnessshoponline.’ For a hot minute, I had some really weird thoughts about what you’re using to slather up.
That session looks pretty killer. My thoughts as I read through it were pretty much, ‘wow…print is like, legitimately strong. holy shit, he’s still pressing. holy shit, that’s a lot of pull ups. dayum, more pressing?’ Hope you get better sleep tonight!

Not sure you knew this, but the ‘theharnesshoponline’ is my go to move. It really is good stuff for us older cats. Got Edgy to get some & he swears by it. Works incredibly well.
I like the mil/pull up day. Fatigue sets in as you say, but when it does happen I just take a little longer rest period. Thanks for the lovely compliment too.
And the pull ups in between stuff:
I find I am actually stronger for my following set if I have done a pull up (for both bench and MP). I dunno, it could just be in my head, but it’s either that it kinda recovers me, or relaxes me so I am not just sitting around waiting for my next set. So I come out stronger and ready to kick some ass.
Either way, pull ups anytime anywhere FTW <–first time I have ever said that, blah.

Where is Edgy???
I think you’re on to something Spooky. Eliminates a lot of reckless mind thoughts on your next big push/pull. Sorta like you just give yourself enough time to psych yourself out. & I’ve no doubt that you aren’t in a perpetually ‘kick ass’ state of mind.

You have a home gym right Print?
Nice DLs Print and also jealous of your Pullups too. :-/
Will have to see about trying these
Do you do chin ups or pullups every workout?
Yep, sure do. garage is set up for nothing but training. & a drinking of course. Got the fridge, bar top w/stools, dart board & the such.
As for the pull ups. All you can do is give’em a go. Try for 3 one day & than 4 the next time so & so on. & I basically do chins/pull ups every session, outside of Fri.
