You donā€™t think they really planned to fight? I feel Thor was serious. What does Eddie stand to gain from this?

I also wonder with Thor dropping so much size, what is his plans. Is he done with strongman. To me, strongman is the only true strength sport. This may position Thor for more acting roles.

Yes apparently done throwing a hook during training, although he suggested that it was probably a partial tear from way back that has finally let go.

The injury is in the video above, about 1:15 - its a jab / straight (he hooks with the uninjured hand after he hurts it)

The fight is ā€œpostponedā€ and it will be happening every year for the next 5 years.

Itā€™s hard to imagine Eddie being any more Carnie-folk like at this point. If it ever happens, I fully expect Eddie to float away on a bunch of balloons while throwing cream pies at Thor.

I am on Team Never Gonna Happen now.

Not sure if I am sad or not about this.

If it does happen Thor will have a huge edge having 2 mock fights and this real fight while Eddie spent his training bashing a sparring partner.

Now thereā€™s talk of Thor fighting Mariusz Pudzianowski. That wouldnā€™t go well for Thor, given Pudzā€™s MMA experience.
