Is it somebody here who have got good results of ecdysterone? It help me if I work a lot and have a lot of stress. That make me relax and I got more energy, but musclegains is not there with ecdyserone. Many ecdysterone supplements dont have pure stuf. It is maybe 45% pure.I heard Thermolife Ecdysten have 98%. But it is why syntrax and other brands have over 200mg in each pill, and thermolife ecdysten have only 15. 15 mg of 98% pure ecdysten is better than 200mg with 45% ecdysterone.

This stuff was proven to be worthless years ago and most supplement companies stopped making it. It sucked 5 years ago. It sucks now.
It’s been speculated that many supplement makers are bringing back old, worthless supplements because andro has been banned. Don’t fall for it. Run a search on this site first at least and read what’s up.
I think I need an aspirin after reading that.
Typing ecdysterone in the search yields this article first…

I have heard that Methoxylon, ecdysterone and proxylon is waste of money. Why is methoxy better than ecdysterone?

A major difference is that the older and presumably less effective version of Methoxy-7, was shown to significantly increase LBM and decrease fat mass. While this one study doesn’t mean it’s absolutely conclusive, when combined with the anecdotal reports, it makes a much better case for efficacy.

thanks for a good reply Cy Willson.
I have been reading a lot about ecdysterone and I found three herbs which contain Ecdysterone : Cyanotis vaga (cheap japanese herb), Rhapunticum Carthamiodes(russian quality herb) and one plant with name Suma.
One who is working for Thermolife have writted this about Ecdysten.Ofcourse ecdysten is thermolife product and it is ecdysterone.
The TRUTH is Ecdysten is a perfect example of product (or more so an ingredient, ecdysterone) that has been bastardized by the over commercialization of sports supplement companies.
ThermoLife International was the first company to sell REAL ecdysterone from Rhapunticum Carthamiodes, the same herb that the Russians used and the same herb that is in dozens of studies showing anabolic effects. .
The product you refer to as “bunk” happens to be one of our best selling products and we haven’t run an ad for it in almost three years. Almost all of our customers for this product are repeat customers, because they know the product works.
You Mr. triathelete04 must be one of the people who have either never tried it or are not capable of knowing whether a product works or not.
You see Ecdysten is a natural product if you are one of the people who have used steroids or prohormones on and off, train sporadically and do not have a clean diet it is very likely that you would not know the product works even though it does.
On the other hand we have worked with numerous world champion athletes who ALL know Ecdysten works as soon as they start taking it. The most recent proof, Dwight Phillips, Gold Medal winner in the Long Jump at 2004 Olympics.
I met Dwight in the summer of 2003, prior to meeting with me he had never taken any supplements before and he complained to me that he felt like he had lost a step. I went over his diet and gave him Ecdysterone and G-TEK. Dwight called to make sure that what I had given him was legal because he said that he had never had a better week of training than the week he started using Ecdysten. He said not only could he feel it but his coach mentioned that he had never seen him train so well.
You see when someone like Dwight who constantly pushes himself to his physical limit, supplements with a product like Ecdysten the effect is unquestionable BUT someone (like you I suspect) who is not in touch their physical capabilities cannot even tell a product is working when it is.
A 5% -10% increase in performance for someone like Dwight means the difference between a Gold Medal and not even qualifying while a 10% difference in your performance level probably means a 3 pound difference on your bench press.
Furthermore, like tribulus, all Ecdysterone is not the same and ThermoLife is still one of the only companies who sells real Ecdysterone from Russian Rhapunticum. The rest of the companies sell some 60% material from a cheap Chinese herb called Cyanotis vaga. It is possible that the other 40% inhibits uptake of the ecdysterone. Nobody would ever know this though because this herb was never studied.
The two are NOT the same thing.
Here is an example of why ecdysterone has a bad rap with many, when we first introduced Ecdysterone almost 5 years ago we originally offered to sell it to EAS. They were very interested and I personally supplied then 3 years worth of research, declassified documents from the Russian Government and countless samples. They led me to belive that they were going to but the material from us.
When EAS finally came out with their fake ass product they used some herb we had never heard of at the time so we had it tested. The label claimed 20mg of 98% ecdysterone from Cyanotis vaga. That means the product should have had 19.6mg. The test proved that there was only 9mg of ecdysterone per capsule. LESS THAN 50% of label claims. They also used all the information I gave them in their advertisements even though they were selling a different herb.
We also notified GNC that they were selling a fake product and sent them certified lab reports. Their reply was were don’t care if it is fake we are going to sell it anyway (the reason we do not sell our products to GNC).
So we sued EAS for making fake products and GNC for racketeering. Unfortunately they had way better lawyers than we did and their attorneys attacked the wording of the complaint so effectively that they got preliminary rulings of no monetary damages and no punitive damages. At this point our attorney asked for a $30,000 retainer so we dropped the case.
But EAS was and still is guilty and anyone who tried Ecdysterone from this product obviously would not have good results. There are dozens more products and companies that fall into this category as this is more the norm in this industry than the exception.
Ecdysten is not bunk. I hope post helps you not be so ignorant in all the other aspects of your life triathelete04.
Now I am off to the gym before it closes tonight.
Haters be Gone.
