Eating At a Restaurant

I’m new here but I was just wondering (sorry if I’m in the wrong section), are turkey burgers bad options at restaurants? I know that the ground turkey that I get is 93/7, but I have no clue what the use at other places. Should I stay away from these?

Usually carbs are the things to watch for most in a restaurant b/c they are usually the refined variety, and “whole grain” in a restaurant usually means bleached refined flour with some molasses added to make it look somewhat brownish and wholesome. And ground turkey that includes the dark meat isn’t that lean, which is ok if you ditch the bun and wrap it in lettuce or something. Add veggies and fruit if you can find it and its not that bad.

For me the worst part is the salt. I dread traveling more than a few days at a time just because this single reason. And I miss my pillow too. Actually I miss a lot of other things, but that’s a whole new discussion.

Interesting take it. Anyway, I guess I’ll just be staying away from restaurant burgers, at least if I’m trying to eat well. They’re always good for a treat though

Rest. burgers I think usually just have more fat in 'em than you would be in a store(93/7, which is pretty lean).

You could get a Ruby Tuesday Bella Turkey Burger:
