Ok so I train legs twice a week and I do ATG squats no pussie shit also I do lots of OHPing but my core could use some work.

As far as not being 6’5" I will see what I can do.

Im fine when I push back but Im screwed when Im not expecting it.[/quote]

6’4’’ is where it’s at

Miles and miles of squat.

  1. When you feel compelled to just stand, get in a crouched position, elbows bent and hands forward. Dart your eyes back and forth quickly while flaring your nostrils.

  2. Extend your fore and middle fingers and poke them in the eyes - i.e. Mo.

  3. Punch them in the nose as hard as you can and then apologize and explain it as a involuntary reaction when you are startled. Old Vietnam habit.

Your right it is a long way to squat but Phil Fister is 6’6" and Lou Ferrigno is 6’5" and both of them did or still squat so I have no excuse.

I used to work with somefootball kids as their physical presence coach and the guys that sucked never knew how to absorb force. In other words if someone came at them they would stiffen up and take the full grunt of it. If you relax and use their momentum to push them in the same direction it helps a lot.

A drill that i found worked a lot was to get a partner and grap his wrist and he grabs your other wrist. While staying in a low squat position try to pull/push eachother over… To make it harder do it on your toes

You dont have to play it really but check out some of the workouts relating to stability and balance.

I’m about your size and probably have about the same balance but I never thought of this to be a problem or something I need to improve. I think it’s just part of being tall. More/heavier squats maybe.

haha, just remembered this:

All the info you need.

You need to gain some weight. 235 at 6-5 is kinda skinny. Skinny people tend to get pushed around easy.
