Digging that much snow in search of the stones could be a helluva workout in itself, huh??? My chains are buried but I have no intension of looking for them at the moment…you have so many other machines of torture at your disposal so the stones can wait.
It seems like you didn’t mind the weight loss & it really hasn’t seemed to affecdt your lifting…Dave, keep up the hard work ethic, I’m sure it will pay big dividends & they’re right around the next corner. Take care for now; my best to you & yours,

A stomach bug went through my house last week. Everyone got it but me. My oldest son(9) crawled into bed with us one night and proceeded to be sick…all over me. Was quite a surprise.
Our dughter tried to do the same thing and we sent her back to her room, so she puked all over her floor. Damn I’m glad we didn’t let her stay with us.

Backtracking a bit.
The three times my son has puked in his life it has been on me each time.
Thanks QT…I know you’re right the cinder block rigs just don’t work very well in the deep snow.
MJ…I can’t wait! Unfortunately the snow doesn’t usually melt away till mid April.

Interesting you should ask. I haven’t been supplementing a lot lately, eating like a horse to get enough protein, is as good as it gets recently. But I’ve just scored a huge bucket of protein, and have my eye on a couple of products I want to give a try. At least one Biotest product and something from another company as well. It may take a couple weeks to get it all going, but expect to see my training kick into a higher gear soon. Right now I’m just lifting as I see fit that particular day. However, I’ve got my eye on a comp that’s nearby this Summer, and I expect to spend extra attention on bench, as it’s a bench, deadlift comp. I do want to do at least one full meet this year, so I’ll continue to work on the big three, but as soon as the snow melts, I’ll play with my yard toys a lot more, I just can’t get at 'em this year, the snow’s really deep. I’ve been lifting long enough now that I’m feeling more comfortable working this and that as I feel I need to. But when I get my sights set on a comp I will hit a strict powerlifting routine to prepare for it. I’ve got my sights set pretty high this year.
That’s great. Alpha Male and Flameout are my favorite Biotest items. I like Grow, too.
Im going to make some more yard toys after the weather improves. I cant drag a sled in my neighborhood because of the noise, but it would be fun to do farmers walks and slosh pipes, just to embarass my family!
training is a lot more fun with a competition to go to. I am hoping that we will have one this summer, but Ut is not a big powerlifting state. Or a big state period. but I figure we gotta have at least one meet per year, dont we?
Keep it Up
