No Carl, I’ve done a 380 gym squat with spotters. I didn’t have any spotters helping me Saturday otherwise I may have gone for it.

You woulda smoked it, just lookin’ at your numbers your puttin’ up. Good work DZ!
Last squat workout you posted was impressive!
Looks like the 380 is history…on to 400-405!!! Lookin’ good, Dave!
Thanks Guys.
Snow games today, got about 6 inches yesterday. I’ve been anxious to try “cindy walks” in the snow.
About 5 minutes of HIIT.
8 one way trips of about 30-40 seconds, with 10-15sec rest between each.
A few minutes rest, then 5 round trips.
Then one more set each arm, one arm “cindy walk”.
The snow, and snow boots really add a whole new level of difficulty to the “cindy walk”, that was a tough 40 minute workout. I’m using the blocks as balast in the back of the SUV. Getting them in and out is part of the workout.![]()

Once you get used to those… do 'em with snow shoes on. That will give you a good burn I bet…

Haven’t seen you do cleans before. Something new?

Thanks Skidmark…meet is Jan 31. I wasn’t going to do this one, because it’s kind of far, and not a good time of year given our weather, but what the hell, it’s a lot of fun.

Relatively new to me. I’ve done clean and jerks a couple times, and more recently power cleans. I think I’ll stick with power cleans. Awsome workout, especially coupled with the other shit I did today. I think I’ll keep them in this cycle to try to get better at them.

Sounds to me like it’s time to start the winter games. Ever pull a weighted sled up hill in the snow. That would do both the legs and the lungs in I would think. Not that you need any knew ideas. Good luck with the snow DZ.
Just a dusting of snow here. We had over 2 feet by this time last year.
What kind of numbers you looking for at the meet in January?
Had 1/2" here in Nj bet Sat night & Sun morn. Skipped my Sunday workout to go see my son wrestle up in NY.
How do you find doing presses and shoulders after a BP workout?
Hope all is well and that you & yours are in the Christmas Spirit Dave!
