DZ, just be careful when you tell your wife that you are going to do some “cindy walks”. She may wonder who this cindy is? Be very careful of taking advice from Skid on naming conventions.

Nah - she’ll understand. She helped him make the darned things!
Didn’t get to log my Saturday workout. Took my 12 year old daughter with me, so part of the session was showing her some stuff. My workout went something like this.
Squats
1x10xbar
1x10x135
1x8x185
1x8x225
1x6x275
1x3x315
1x8x225
Blew out the ass of my pants, my daughter thought that was hilarious.
that’s an impressive deadlifting video you put up, looks real strong to me. Your cinder blocks made me try some farmer walks as well, with DB’s, they really do crush my traps and forearms. To Skids point, stretchy pants may help, of course, MC Hammer pants might be more your style??? “try and see”, that’s my motto.

Thanks Zman! That video was my very first crack at the
“cindy walk”. It was just a one way trip, now each set is down and back,'cept when I’m doin HIIT, I’ll go down rest 10 sec. then back again.
DZ, are you able to maintain your weight easily as your strength increases. Are there specific ways you train to increase strength and maintain weight? Just curious.

Not really Streamline. I’ve put on a few pounds since the September meet. I’m up to about 210-212, one reason I want to try to get in some HIIT, and attempt to keep the bodyfat down some. Wife says my neck and traps are getting noticably bigger, so, I’m not sure it’s possible for me to lift hard and eat a lot without getting larger.
I’ve read recently that by keeping rest time between sets down one can burn more fat while training. I really feel I could stand to loose at least 10 lbs of body fat. We’ll see what happens.
