Weight was 204 when I got to the gym. That’s after a bowl of oats for breakfast. Hopefully that means this low carb and extra cardio thing is working.

Have a good weekend, DZ – great week of training behind you.

Thanks Geech! Had a nice weekend visiting with out of town relatives. Did lots of eating and no training, so I was looking forward to doing something today, but I had some ink work done last night and as soon as I started to sweat, I had to wimp out. Started a back piece, so, most of my back is stinging and red. I’ll have to confess to being a pussy this morning. Got a few sets in but won’t bother to record them. I’ll get the wife to take a picture of the work done.

Tat

There’s a reason for the different elements I’ve chosen for my tattoo. Suffice it to say, they’re all Celtic symbols.

Had to stay close to home today, so, I worked out in the yard.

Tire Flips
6 sets - 96 flips

80lb stone carries
6 sets across the yard and back

Need to get a few more good workouts in. A week from Saturday I’ll be leaving for a weeks vacation with the family. While I’m taking my belt etc., I’m thinking a week off prior to beginning a new program leading to the meet in Sept.
Today

Zercher squats
1x8xbar
1x6x95
1x6x135
1x4x185
3x3x205
1x2x225

Pull Throughs

GPP today

2 laps on the track W/70yrd sprint on the front stretch of each.

My daughter pointed out that my 50 yard sprints were in fact 70 yards.

8 sets of stairs

2 more laps with sprints

8 more sets of stairs

1 cool down lap

Kids…always so technical. I like that GPP work, don’t want to do it, but I like it.

Way cool Tat - love the Celtic symbols.

How long to get it finished?

Nice WO DZ - gotta love those Zerchers. They must really help out with your stone carries.

Wicked Tat DZ. Looking forward to seeing the final result. My daughter just got inked today, outline. Haven’t seen it yet, it’s Kali the Hindu Goddess of life and death, it’s going to look real sweet.

Way to keep pounding out the workouts and good luck watching the eating on your road trip. That’s always a tough one but you can do it.

DZ, the tire flipping-carrying heavy stuff around the yard is tough. I’m always sucking air and getting dizzy every time I do it.

Thanks guys! Soldog, I’m guessing by the end of the year to get it finished. Probably 4 or 5 more sittings.

Sorry to hear that DZ. Do you have some disgruntled employees?

Thanks soldog…yea, I watched videos, and checked turnstile records today with security and have it narrowed down to three guys, and one of them has reason to be angry with me for enforcing some company policies on him last week. We’re gonna put the screws to him on Monday.

Shit! What a bum deal. But I know how it goes. Sorry about the tire, sorrier still for the hassle at work. It’s amazing how bad childish, vindictive adults can be.

You’re right about that willy.

Had to squeeze in a quickie today.

Want to train Sumo deads again.
