Looks tough, DZ! Are you doing all this on the same basic diet?
What I’ve done most notably Geech is remove most of the whole grain bread from my diet right now. I was eating 4 or 5 pieces a day. I’m just eating my eggs with a homemade chicken/pork sausage, and milk W/ protein, or without. And for two of my mid-day meals I was having another protein shake with a PB sandwich. I’ve replaced the sandwich with cubed cheese and cubed pastrami. Not sure how much protein I’m getting from the cheese and Past, but I’m fairly certain those meals are still 50-60g.
Great workout. I like the one arm OH squats. Its great how you throw in many non-standard gym exercises: OH db squat, pull throughs, hanging clean, tire, rock carry, etc. Always enjoy reading your workouts.
DZ, Enjoy the day with your daughter and family. My daughter is eight and it is such a great age. Old enough to do things with but young enough to still “like” her Dad. The teenage years are just around the corner…
DZ-I’m thinking about trying some pullthroughs in my training.I was on elitefitness and watched some training videos. How did they feel? Were you sore the next day?Your training looks awesome bro!

You’ve got that right, sounds like the voice of experience.
Thanks mday!

Thanks guys!
Jimmy, I’ve only done them now two or three times, and honestly I wasn’t sore the next day. I’ve been feeling a wicked tightness in one of my hams doing leg curls, so I was looking for something a little different. I really like them though because they involve several muscles.
Had a bunch of errands to run this morning. New tires and oil change for the Toyota before a road trip in a couple of weeks. Had about an hour afterwards to get into the gym before it closed so the workout was kind of abbreviated.

DZ, what are rainbows?

It’s an oblique movement. Lay on your back, knees together and bent. Twisting at the waist, roll your legs slowly over to one side as far as you can, then slowly back over the other way. Your knees sweep from side to side in the shape of a rainbow.

This must really hit the mid/lower abs fairly hard. I will have to give it a try.

Lookin’ good DZ! how’s the extra cardio/HIIT working for you?
I don’t honestly know what I weighed the week before last since I’ve started with the extra cardio etc. I weighed 205 at the gym a few days ago. I’m going to keep at it because I do believe it’s working. At work we have these huge floor scales for weighing product and I hop on one everyday, it’s down two or three pounds. I’ve cut out a lot of carbs from my diet, and replaced it with meat and cheese. Vacation in a couple weeks is going to be hard, but I’ll effort to eat as cleanly as possible.
Errands again early this morning, not feeling particulaly energetic. Hit the HS track today, sprints not very sprinty today, legs were not cooperating.
