Being natural and second rate, is like a Prius saying to a Camaro, “I only go 100, but I am an electric.” Who gives a shit. I’d rather be a SHW with needles sticking out of my ass and thighs, just to be the best.
Lol highlighted for funny.
But seriously, people are this uninformed? “Creatinez is teh roidz!!!” I’d like to believe my fellow man isn’t quite that stupid…
They are.
3 douchebags in the squat rack next to me doing incline bench (not even going down that road right now).
1 of them is clearly the Alpha giving advice.
“don’t ever take creatine man. i took that shit…and wow! i didn’t think i was raging that hard, until my mom made me (muttered something unclear, I was racking 45’s) and I snapped!! thats when i was like damn, this shit is serious. i immediately dumped all my creatine in the toilet. never again.”
Yesterday this kid was next to me when i was doing side laterals,he was jumping up and down and bobbing his head saying YEAH YEAH…then proceeded to lift up his shirt and flex his abs ( this kid prolly weighed 150lbs soaking wet ) then took 90 lb dumbells and walked over to the decline bench had his friend lift them up for him and help him lower them down…he then dropped them on his face LITERALLY…I was dying with laughter inside and yet he tried the 90’s three more times with the same result

This is not a “dude you look swole” but it IS a pretty accurate rendition of a completely retarded conversation I recently had about lifting:
Other: I still think you should lift light weights for lots of reps. You don’t want to get bulky
Me: Bulky!? Do I look Bulky?
other: No but you don’t want to GET BULKY!
Me: Bulky like who? Name a chick thats bulky. Name just ONE. And don’t say Marion Jones cuz she used steroids.
Other: Marion Jones? no she’s not bulky.
Gotta watch out. You lift heavy weights for a day or two and you wake up one morning 60lbs heavier than the last.
I coach high school rowing and the guys all think I’m on steroids. I went to the lake for July 4th weekend with some friends and random people. I was a drunk asshole and found out later that everyone thought I was on steroids (really I was just sloppy drunk that weekend) but hey nobody tried to start anything. This with me sitting at a whopping 185 lbs or so. Sad. Oh and my Mom tells me I’m going to die on a regular basis from protein.
I also got this one the other day, which is harsh I know but she needs to lose weight:
Mom: You’re too big
Me: So are you
It’s a constant war with her where she complains she can’t lose weight when she drinks a bottle of wine a night and eats a box of wheat thins that are “reduced fat” and low calorie desserts.

i used to row in school for 2 years, i’m sure the student team has a skewed vision of what constitutes as natural or otherwise but for sure for kids at that age to consider you to be on something it has to be a compliment.

I’m training for 9 months now, went from 65 kg to a 76 kg so far. My friend trains with me on and off, mostly on though, and gained some weight too. Though you can’t really see it’s muscles, whereas I clearly gained muscle. I always tell him to eat more and healthy, yet he only eats veggies like once a week. However, he told at his house that I’m getting rather big (I’m not big, I know guys :)) and his brother said: That’s because of those protein and shit.

Lol…dude, I eat veggies once a week or so, and I get a cold maybe once a year, and besides that never get sick…pretty sure I’m doing just fine at lifting also. When it comes to getting big and strong, veggies aren’t all that important.

Well okay, but clearly he isn’t hitting his macro nutrients very well =/
Veggies barely provide any macros at all…just a few carbs and some minerals. They’re not BAD by any means, but not even close to the most important thing for getting strong.
