And this is from an atheist NOT an agnostic. Either believe or don’t.
I’ve made this point many times on PWI. Don’t be a pansy ass agnostic. Get off the fence. Shit or get off the pot.
Be a theist or an atheist but enough with this sappy “I just don’t know” bullshit. You do know, you just enjoy the stimulation, I guess, you get when riding the fence.

HAHA! I’m pretty much that pansy you speak of here, lol. Although I’m pretty sure I’m firmly on one side of the fence, just… Eh nevermind, not the thread for this.
But in the end, there is actually a really good thread about religion in general on the front page (I think it is still) of PWI. I’ll talk there about it if you’d like.
Not really looking to derail this thread into philosophical discussions, although based off your word choice and the term “bullshit” being thrown around, I’m not sure you are looking for anything more than an outlet to bash theists.

Not really. It just creates straw men arguments for the Judeo-Christian position and then “refutes” the staw man that only atheist think is real religion. It’s the same as the Xbox guy. Probaly where he got his link.
If you want to pick one of the Jewish examples,* I’ll happily expose the argument as bullshit in the next week or so.
Me, if I was you, I would stick with the “how cute: believes in sky-fairies” argument, in that you will find (much to your disgust) that the Torah is amazingly internally consistent and logical once you proceed into it.
The supposed contradictions listed on that page are not contradictions at all.
Again, Jewish folk, for all our faults, are not a stupid people, and it’s our book that we’ve studied and followed like none other for some 3,500 years. So, even if the Torah was made-up bullshit (which I obviously disagree about), any easy crap like internal contradictions would have been worked out a couple thousand years ago.
Sorry, I know next to nothing about Christianity, so I can’t help there.
Indeed, squirt, a grown man. A grown man who has just spanked a mere boy…whose lil bottom is now stinging and sore and so he plays the best hand he’s got. And comes up short.
lmao, yeah you wish.

Not looking for an outlet to bash theists. Religion is bullshit, pure and simple. Delude yourself as much as you like.

Then why do you continue to do it? Are you a theo-phobe?
Funny part about your “delude” comment is you have no idea what I do or don’t believe, or what I even have to say on the subject. You just assume things because I don’t ride the same “I hate” train you do.
Assumptive conjecture seems more deluded than anything IMO.

Yeah, you’re right:
II Samuel 6:23 “Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.”
II Samuel 21:8 “But the king took the two sons of Rizpah . . . and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul.”
Concerning strawmen, it seems you don’t know what a strawman is. It’s a fabricated situation which can be easily torn apart, used to show the fallacy within something.
Using the quote directly from the bible and refuting them is not a strawman, since nothing is being made up.

A theophobe? Is that like how homosexuals call someone a homophobe because they don’t actually have an intelligent rebutal?

You are relying on a mistranslation.
“Merab” should be put in place “Michal” in 2 Sam. 21:8.
After her death her sons were hanged to atone for Saul’s slaughter of the Gibeonites, a breaking of Israel’s covenant.

I’m not sure if you did that on purpose, but accusing an attorney of not knowing what a strawman is then expaining one the way you did is hilarious.

You’ve offered nothing to rebut but brash opinion, a link to some webpage with profanity in the domain, and wiki.
Also this is a hilarious charge coming from someone who tossed out the oh-so original “sky fairy” line of “intelligent rebuttal” after making up some statistic about intelligence levels and there supposed correlation to theism.
Great.
Funny though, the vast majority of people today, and thorough the known history of the world completely disagree with you, over and over and over and over again. Different names, different interpretations of the same basic ideas, but none the less, all the same basic ideas, over and over and over and over again. Since, like, you know, the dawn of civilization…
Interesting that the cancer hasn’t killed off mankind yet… Also interesting that it has thrived with this “cancer” basically predominant throughout its history.
This part of your post alone makes you a fool. An ignorant one.
Go back to your xbox. You have no business commenting on the Bible. You simply aren’t smart enough.

People who aren’t invested in the bible tend to be (much) smarter than those who are.
In their own minds I’m sure they are; in fact I bet they’re lofty pinnacles of unmatched intellectual acumen. They must look down from their self perceived Olympus’ with utter disdain for the mere mortals who have studied their Bibles. When they chuckle at the common human who has cracked the holy book more than once or twice I’m sure the lightning flashes and the thunder roars.
Are you one of these gods? Is your blaze truly legendary?
A grown man believes in sky fairies. Cute.

The go too pretentious insult from team Atheist…almost as militant as the gay lobby.
