Seems to go totally against what I read on here. I know that is often the case, but surely you’d think there should be some sort of link between the two?

I know that sometimes almost any change often promotes a training effect… but should I do the opposite of everything it says if I want to grow?

It was a fine article. There was nothing in it that contradicts other methods.

Sounds like pure hypertrophy training to me. It should work really well if you have a good base of strength, solid MMC, and lots of mental toughness.

Noobs should work on developing those things I listed first.

this kind of more “metabolical” work has been scientifically proven to elicit muscle growth.

On the other hand heavy compounds work just as well -also a lot funnier in my opinion. Many ways to the same destinations.
