It’s downright criminal that Drivethru Hero wasn’t chosen to be the face of this campaign.
lol
I’d hit it. I’m talking Taco Bell Christine though, not Drivethru Hero. Sorry man.

Lmao.
I like the old Christine better. She was probably easier to pick up at a bar and fuck than the skinny hot version. sigh

only a limited few out there will actually understand the real concept.
The “concept” is to increase Taco Bell profits. If people lose weight on the diet, it’s good: they did it by eating at TB. If people fail the diet, it’s even better because they did it by eating more at TB. There’s nothing altruistic about this.

Absolutely correct. The bottom line here is that Taco Bell is going to make more money by doing this.
Where was Subway 10 years ago? After some intelligent marketing and framing, they took a run of the mill sandwich chain and turned it into a dominant “healthy” alternative for those looking for a quick meal.
If you are going to get mad at anybody, get mad at the people that buy into this. America thrives on small groups of intelligent people selling to the poorly educated masses.
Can you hear it now, “I had 2 fresco soft tacos for lunch, I did so good today, I think I’ll have a grilled stuffed burrito and bag of those fried things”. Which brings us to our next long thread about the New Years crowd.
Been a while SIGH, but didn’t they have a burrito out with crisp red peppers interspersed in the usual beef and rice mix? I forgot what they called it back then…
Anyhoo, for those who haven’t seen it yet

Lets face it. When you go to taco bell you get two chicken quesadillas, a beef grilled stuffed burrito, and two tacos.
This fresco garbage is bullshit.
I lose weight everytime I eat a Taco Bell. Because I crap for 3 days straight.

This.
I meant user side, the concept of making this choice effect for the users goals.
For the TB side like it has been said its win win, it doesnt have get results necessarily, if they make people feel better about eating it (and most likely more of it) theyve done their job.
Oh, I shouldn’t bring this up, but here it goes. I think this may end up being another Jared. He ate like a slopped hog before he started doing his Subway thing. Then, he started losing weight on his Subway diet. He certainly improved his health, but really doesn’t look that healthy. He went from being a fat blimp to being a skinny-fat doughboy. His subway diet may not be great, but it worked because it was better than the garbage he ate before. I suspect some will do well eating this stuff, not because it is good food, but simply because it is better than what they are eating.
Some of the ingredients in those items are potentially quite healthy - lean proteins, lettuce, tomato, beans; but, I am sure there are additives, preservatives, the refined carb shells are not healthy, and I am sure the meat comes from a factory farm (not the best). The average person’s diet is so poor, that these items may be better than what they would have eaten.
Off topic:
Has anyone had the volcano taco in NY** recently? I had one the other night and my mouth was ON FIRE. I had to go drink milk to cool it off. Think about that for a second, milk and taco bell shits were a better option than sitting there with my mouth on fire.
**I say in NY, because I see a very distinct difference in fast food in NY than in CA. I’ve also had other people agree with me on this. CA’s volcano tacos are pretty spicy, but enjoyable spicy, not “print get over here and punch me in the face” spicy.

x2
I think people will just start eating at tacobell more, get a healthy menu item, then add a pop and some fries with it, totally negating any nutritional value.

Do they have fries at taco bell in Canada?

You ever been to Canada man? Crazyyyyyyyyyyyy place.
When i first read the title i thought it had something to do with DriveThruHero lol. like his personal diet or something.
I really think you guys are undersetimating the laxative properties of Taco Bell. It has long been know as a hangover cure due to the explosion that happens precisely 2 hours after eating it.
x3 on Christine
I like the grande meal diet, personally.
