So today was an interesting workout. I felt like dog crap. Tired and worn out from a long day on very little sleep. My right wrist was killing and my thumb was acting up again and I hadn’t eaten much all day. The plan was to get the minimum reps test out some heavier reverse grip pressing to see where I was and go home. But 190 in the second working set felt like the pink dumbells so I went for it on the last set and got 6, which I think is a PR of +1 rep AND +5 pounds. I don’t know what it was, my brain was not functioning and I was yawning between sets. Brain power is evident by my 190 rev press which was supposed to be 195 but I left of a 5 from one side and didn’t notice until I went to add weight for the next set.
Reverse presses felt easy all the way up through 210 and then I apparently used up all mt mojo.
195 5x10 various grips
Superset with
Rack row BW 5x15
LF row 210x14
Tried to do some curls but my wrist was bothering me too much. Deload next week is going to be much needed. I’m wearing wrist wraps on most everything for now. Video of the 385 should get up tomorrow. I’m counting this as a PR because this is the first times I’ve done more than 1 rep with that much weight in a workout.
Right hip and lower back were tight and felt like crap. They wouldn’t loosen up so I repped 405 out some. Weight felt light but I felt like crap. 425 my right hip wouldn’t corporate and I almost fell over, so I cut it off there. Got vids to post later.
