Depends on the tournament. Rebuys, I will play bingo with everyone else. I don’t like rebuys, though. With the regular tournaments, I’m more slow and steady. Try to stay smart and disciplined. I haven’t really decided how to play the bounty tournament. It’s $100/bounty. I don’t know how that amount really affects the dynamics.

Two different restaurants have had chicken fried steak on the menu, and at BOTH places it was PORK!!! WTF is that? Never in my life have I heard of chicken-fried steak referring to PORK.
That’s blasphemy where I come from.
Schnitzel? I do love Schnitzel but no, chicken fried steak is always, always, always, BEEF!
Just trying to keep those profits higher because pork is cheaper.
Years ago in Oregon my BBF ordered chicken fried steak and they brought it out with yellow sauce on it. He lost his shit and ask them “WTF is this?” She told him it was chicken gravy because it was Chicken fried steak.
Needless to say, he sent it back.
That absolutely has to be a result of increased beef prices. That really sucks. I spent a lot of time in Vegas in the 90s and remember it as the land of cheap buffets, and it’s sad how that’s done a complete 180.

Down 1.4 lbs after 2 days in Vegas. I chalk that up to the walking. Getting about 11,000 steps a day so far. Poker did not go great yesterday. Not terrible, but not great. I wasn’t used to the big blind ante. Once we were down to 5 at the table I was at, the blinds ate me up really fast. Lesson learned.
This was the cable machine at the gym. Never seen one before.

I walked farther yesterday than I have the whole time I’ve been here, and ate the same thing I have been eating, but gained 2 lbs. That puts me at gaining 0.6lbs in 3 days in Vegas. I’ll take that. Poker went about the same yesterday as it did on Monday. No bueno.
Travel causes weight gain in and of itself. It sounds like you did good all the way around…minus the poker, haha. But hopefully you had fun!

Thanks. On the upside, yesterday was the last time I have to visit my wife at the prison camp. I take her to the halfway house on Tuesday. Not sure how long she will be there. A week at the least, late July at the most. She can work from home, and she’ll get passes while she’s there.
