My ‘‘collection’’ is still small but do I really need a 4th bike
I was super tired Friday night. So, I skipped the workout.
Good thing. The Saturday pump track was a blast. My legs were on fire by the end.
It was also 20oC!
My local bike shop is looking into giving me a good solid deal on an enduro bike.
Sunday,
woke up sore, too sore, now I have chills and runny nose. Well shit…
UGH!! Rest lots and feel better soon!!
Tuesday,
Starting to feel more like normal. Maybe 1 or 2 more rest day. I still had sore joints mostly ankles and hands
Thursday,
Getting better. My shoulder is sore from all the coughing.
The BF got sick too. I will see if the week end will be bike or gym but I should be up for some action.
On the summer plan, we are planning many bike park week end and I did score a great deal on a Slash 9.8 GX AXS Gen 5. I was not looking for the wireless transmission but for the price I got. While at the shop, I was drooling over a DH bike but that would not be a wise choice.
Congratulations on the new bike! I have a wireless transmission on mine. It grows on you. Always keep a spare battery on your car. I have already hauled my bike 5 hours to realize I left the battery charging at home.
Monday,
Finally feeling normal.
Did a light session to get the body moving again.
Tuesday,
Easy leg day. My shoulder did good with yesterday’s workout.
The leg work can also nag at the said shoulder/tendon in the deadlift and squat.
I will see how things feel in the morning.
Thursday,
Light upper body. The shoulder is ok ish. I am seeing the physio next Tuesday.
And I got my bike. It is sexy AF. But after a quick spin in the parking lot, I ordered a higher bar, not carbon but it will match the grips and pedals.
Now, we hunker down for a massive spring storm.
Friday,
Normal leg workout but a bit less weight.
The shoulder is feeling pretty good.
And here is my new sexy ride
Saturday,
The storm forgot us, so we made it to the indoor pumptrack.
Cardio done.
Crossing all fingers for some above freezing temperature. So we can ride out side.
Looks awesome!
Monday,
Normal upper body work out. Felt good, no popping, no discomfort.
Tomorrow physio for the knee.
Wednesday,
Normal boring leg work out. Knee is ok.
Will see tomorrow.
The shoulder is feeling good.
Thursday,
Normal upper body stuff but no bi and tri because I felt a mild pop during the day, so just to be safe.
Friday,
The shoulder is ok from yesterday, my knee is also behaving.
Normal leg day, including hack squats.
Saturday evening,
Pump track as it was jam pack all day.
We were just the 2 of us.
You get tired real fast.
Sunday,
Did Monday workout because we have some thing tomorrow night.
My knee is happy as it can be, my shoulder was ok too.
I did a normal upper body session.
So far so good. But boy is it slow progress but it’s progress. So it is good.
Progress is progress - enjoy it!
