From my garden, I am the throwing zuccs at co workers!
I live in rural/tourist New England, and around here the advice is to find an unlocked car from New Jersey and put the zuccs in the front seat.
Because the coworkers already have enough zucchini!
I will drop some at the open fridge in town for those who need food.
Yesterday, we had a 3hrs mtb class, it was fun. My shoulder is a bit tired but not mad at me. The place was very mild and chilled compare to our local park.
Today, we are making more zucchinis things because we are invaded.
Thursday,
Vacation is fun and we are chilling a lot, if doing gym work out, riding bikes (pump track and park) and cooking zucchinis are chilled stuff to do.
Tomorrow, we may do nothing, maybe.
Yesterday, we rode a different pump track.
Today, we did the local bike park. 2 time up to the small flow track, 2 mid way ride to ride lower section of other trails and2 time up to the top the ride to bigger flow jump trail.
I only nearly died once on the way up but it is much cooler today like 15oC cooler which make it easier.
And did some line in the jump park because it is fun. Still not really jumping anything but figured that it is easier to pop the teeter totter then to just let it flop down.
Saturday,
Still doing the so light work out more of a push pull version for now. Every thing is holding on for now.
Biking. Made it 3 times to the top, once doing the top half of the fire road. Did the small flow trail 2x and a few push back up the re ride some section. Did ride my first rock garden. That was easier and rode a steeper section of the tech flow trail. The shoulder get tire muscles sore but ROM is not affected.
Just ordered a new saddle because my butt is a bit sore.
Sunday, last day of vacation.
Half day bike ride, rode a bit more rowdy stuff. Played with the suspension a bit to make the front a bit softer and had fun launching of the teeter totter making it a teeter cannon.
Still hate the climb even if I can do more of it faster.
Sorry you have to return to reality. I hope it was an awesome vacation!
Thursday,
Still doing the gym stuff, still very light but slowly increasing the weights.
My big bike is back in the shop because the fork is not working correctly. Itās ok, as we have shitty weather and I work over the week end.
Saturday,
One more light work out, but did more reps.
Monday,
Short pump track session as there was a father who let one of his kids do dangerous stuff, like darting a cross the track, sitting on the track while other were riding. The kid had no awareness of what was going around him, maybe he was too young. I left after an other kid fell off her bike as the toddler knocked her off just after I had to bail off the track because the kid just ran in front of me front from the grass area where he was with his dad. There were other riders and we all pretty much left.
So I did an other light gym work out. Still doing a push pull type of rotation.
That sounds like a frustrating day at the track for the adults and a potentially dangerous day for the kids. Itās too bad a stern employee didnāt speak very seriously to the dad.
Thursday, itās bloody hot like 40oC
Got my bike back with a new fork, so I can ride if itās not so hot.
I got a strange bug Tuesday, like heat stroke. Red flush face, feeling hot or cold, no fever, some cramping and vomiting and the run. I was much better on Wednesday and today, I only have some sore abs.
Saturday,
Short bike ride to test the new fork. It is plush, gives more grip too.
We left home at 9 am with a feel like 30oC and got back at 11 and it felt like 40oC already.
Picked the garden before leaving. I got 4liters of cherry tomatoes, 2liters of jalapenos and 1.5 of yellow beans.
Not sure, I will do more today.
Iām glad you made a quick recovery! That sounded awful!
Sunday,
Last night I did a upper body work out. Managed to bench 10lb db. My left side find it very light but the right side did it with out pain or discomfort.
One more early bike ride. I want an e-bike, boy it was hot. We did some sessioning of more tech features. I got more speed, did some very very chill jumps and drops.
Now refusing to move.
Monday
Upper body stuff and a small harvest.
Those zucchini hide very well until they get over size monster.
Today I made pickled zucchini. Most of those tomatoes will go into the freezer so I can process them later or I will dry them.
Tuesday,
After work bike ride. We did 3 runs, 2 to the top and did half the way by the fire road. I did not die.
My arm was bit stiff after yesterday work out. It is the coracobrachialis that is the problem but it was just stiff not painful.
Wednesday,
Super nice evening, so more biking. Getting better aka fast and ājumpingā more stuff.
We are also invaded by cheery tomatoes.
