Thanks guys.

I got my first physio session. feeling much better.
He thinks 6 week of solid rest following his plan.
It is the same joint that got pissed with the covid shot. And it is been injured a few times in the past doing unplanned gravity check from horses.

I get to wear the sling at work but I have to keep it off as much as possible at home.

I got some ROM stuff to do. Still waiting for the ortho, but my physio is confident that is is fixable with just physio. Also knowing that I don’t do well with metal implant. But we are both eager to hear what will be is opinion.

I am good enough to start doing some machine leg stuff. So maybe next week, I can do some leg press, calf raises and leg extension/curl stuff.

As long as it is taped it is not so bad and ROM is acceptable.

I had to remove the tape becsuse my skin was screaming obsanity but the instability and pain came back really fast.

Ortho appointment is next Tuesday.

tape is back on, a lot less pain and a lot of allergy pills on board.

I did research the othro that I will see. and that is a big fat NO way. Hospital pay because he did touch some ladies. Many case for minor professional fault is recent years.
Trying very hard to see the one my physio work with. But I need a referal from a Dr. My gp is on med leave for 3 months, Now I have to go thru our walk in clinics system but in Quebec, you need to have an appointment to go to a walk in clinc.

October 25,

Got to see the first ortho, I see a second one tomorrow.
The diagnostic went from grade 5 to grade 2.
But still this guy wanted to do surgery with plate and hook and remove the hard wear in 6 months with not real sport benefit mostly cosmetic as in the bump get smaller but I gain one more zipper.

Let see what the second ortho say.

My physio is happy with the progression and I can start very light stuff.
So tomorrow I will start a leg, left side and right shoulder rehab

Well, going for a 2nd opinion was worth it.
This ortho, did, x ray of both shoulders, evaluate my ROM and strength of both arms. Measured the AC and CC displacement. While the AC gap is not so bad the CC is also completely busted.
In other words there is no hope of none surgical solution for a return to sport.

Surgery is this Saturday as it need to be done in the acute phase of the injury. I will also get the best type of surgery, the only down side is the in my case it has to be done by open reduction. I would have like laparoscopy to have less scaring.
This also mean about 6 months off work and I should have been off since the start.

24hrs post surgery,

I can move my fingers, hand, wrist and elbow.
The surgery site is pretty sore, so I am trying to stay still, take my pain meds and ice.
