I had a bitch of a week at work. I had to cancel my B-day plan to go into work. Some sick staff had to be replaced last minute and it is the back to school time so it is a nightmare. Oh and it is that F**king time of the month.
My back is sore, so I am taking it easy. Tomorrow I have some chicken to process into yummy food. And Saturday we are going to some cool bike park.
That sucks! I hope you were or are able to celebrate unencumbered this weekend.
Friday
3 easy run on the bike and processed 10 chickens.
PSA, if you are under the weather stay the fuck home. My BF is running a fever thanks to his co worker who showed up at work because it was not covid.
Saturday, PB is still under, but he had enrolled us in a MTB class, so I got to go alone. It was fun, learned a lot and some of my old habit got me.
If you donāt succeed at first do has the coach said first. I got my first OTB. Nothing seem hurt, just a few scratches and bruises.
But it was fun.
Sunday
Mildly sore, mostly my right shoulder and elbow. Sore in the wrong spots so no gym but ok to ride the bike. So, I left sicky at home and went for a few runs. Much better, even the climbs are more bearable. But the fun is going down and that was much faster, I could take a few features. I can also feel that this bike wonāt last much longer.
The coach yesterday was impressed by the capability of the old lady after a long yatus and just a month back at it. My cardio is not impressive.
Monday, one more bike ride. Did a few drops and some small jumps. It was a bit crowded but still fun.
One of my best friend had a stroke last week and is still not super solid. That suck.
The weather is spectacular, it was over 27C by the time I did my last run with super high humidity. We are having a heat wave in Mtl. I may have to water the garden. We got 5 days with out rain.
Sicky is still running a low grade fever.
I may take a few rest day, then back to the normal programming.

Well, I am just starting to feel a bit better. I just had 2 good night of sleep. Still stuffy and coughing some but heading in the good direction.

Back to the normalish life.
Vacation week was super, lots of rest, lots of fun, great weather for most part.
Got myself a new bike. We did ride a few different parks.
Now back to the gym.
