So I had my first cycle with test 300-400mg a week for 11 weeks a couple months ago. I am currently an endurance athlete. I go to a boxing gym and I lift 2-3 times a week, and I train/run marathons. I gained around 10 lbs of muscle due to my dexa scan….which I lost nearly all of after my cycle. I also dropped my bf to 19%. I did feel like I can recover better, which was my goal, maintain muscle mass on a caloric deficit and still train hard.
Looking to hop on my second cycle to prepare for the summer . The only problem is my vacations are pretty spread out…I want to run a 9 week cycle before may 21. Then I’ll only have time for another 8 weeks off before I get on cycle again for the last 2-3 weeks of august. Of course the eight weeks I have a PCT ready. And I’ll continue ramping up my protein so I can preserve more muscle .
So is a 8 week PCT followed by another cycle feasible ? Should I look into blast and cruise. I’m a fairly healthy person, no serious medical condition of any sorts
Sounds like conditioning and willpower are the issue here. That’s really average BF not fit level at all. Get yourself fit first IMO before continuing.
I used to be at 33% so I see it as good progress , you gotta give me credit.
And I wanna do it again cuz I wanna learn how to keep more of the muscle I put on. I’m still at 19% but I’ll get down to 15% I feel like it’s around the corner .
But really just tryna get some definite advice from you guys…so blast and cruise it is?
I mean on one hand yeah I do. I don’t have a lot of sympathy though for those that let themselves get that out of shape. Yes that’s great progress but drugs are not the answer. Show me 5 years of consistent healthy training and nutrition. Then talk to me about AAS.
