Did my first cycle over a year ago and at the time I was just doing test. Had some health issues unrelated to my cycle and I’m finally trying to get back on track. Is it safe to do another 8-12 week of test e at 500 per week and a 4 week post or should I do something more? I’m not doing body building competitions or anything crazy, just powerlifting, personal body building, and trying to get back into great physical shape. Size and all that matters but it’s not my main focus… what do y’all think?
Sounds like you are just coming back to the gym after a break. If this is the case, i don’t advise cycling.
For that matter, unless you actually are competing, there’s not much point to cycling tbh.
What are your current big 3 or big 4 PRs? Current body weight?
PEDs are not to get back into shape. They are to push you past your limits. Get back into shape first and then reconsider. @Andrewgen_Receptors stated this, I will state it, and so will virtually every other member here if I dared to guess.
We wouldn’t know that, not for you. Is your health issue resolved?
This is gold.

Broke my back in January , finally healed…. Just trying to get the muscles to become stronger on my lower back to support more weight
Honestly none of those numbers scream “I need to cycle”, even before your injury. I strongly recommend getting your strength back naturally well before cycling. I mean I don’t recommend cycling at all, but at least get your strength back to the point where it’s more justifiable to use AAS to chase numbers no one cares about.
IMO, no AAS until you get back to your old PR’s. And then if you are still progressing, hold off the AAS some more.
